Hi there, Thanks for checking my profile. I am looking for someone to hang out with for now. I think we are all on here for the same reason. I think relationships evolve naturally so my intent on here is to form a friendship and a connection and see what grows from there . I prefer shyer people, maybe because I am somewhat shy myself. One day I would like to write a screenplay.Here are the things I love to do with another...Have long lazy decadent breakfasts and watching movies, go laze on a beach on a resort, go to football games, concerts, live theatre, experiment with new gourmet recipes, maybe try photography, play scrabble or cards, bbq, bowling, go on picnics near some glorious body of water with some wine, the zoo, road trips, rafting, suntan, dinner theatre, camp, lotsa things. I love an excuse to get all dolled up and hit the theatre or a nice restaurant, but don't feel the need to do this all the time, but once in awhile is nice. I travel a lot, often to a tropical place two or three times a year. Really want a partner for that.Really looking for people to hang out with and enjoy life with. If you are not very educated we probably won't have much in common. I am most attracted to men that don't look like seniors and are reasonably in shape. Love nerds. Won't respond to you if you have shirtless bathroom shots, sunglasses, seem conceited or uneducated, or haven't held on to a relationship more than a year. It saddens me how many men are unable to make time or room for others. I can't believe how many slimy married or attached men there are on this site. Also, some of you look like your profile pic is taken in a cell. Don't even bother!!! Ah the coffee date? Is there anyone else that doesn't like them?They are like a job interview. I find them so generic sounding and cheap. My skin crawls when I get asked on one. I also think they are boring. Breakfast is nice. So is pizza or wings and a beverage. Less impersonal.

I love movies, theatre (watching and performing in), music, getting lost in a good book, keeping fit and being a student of life. I'm interested in other cultures and what makes people tick. People find me amusing, friendly and a bit crazy :) This all helps me work with getting High School students through, "when am I ever going to use this?!" moments. :p A sense of humour, or even better wit, are far more impressive to me than any car or thing. I'm looking for someone who is not only fun to be around but also loving, respectful and compassionate. Someone to share love, laughter and life with... who maybe loves clever comedy, is a bit nerdy/geeky/literate (ie. saw The Hobbit and The Great Gatsby!), has warm, smiling eyes, and if not loves the arts, at least has an appreciation for them. I have a good life, good friends and great sons, all I'd like now is the Great Guy! :)I recently wrote this to someone and think I need to add this to my profile since I'm in the Land of the Outdoorsy, I'm feeling like a fish out of water...I recently came to the realization that if some people are 'outdoorsy' than that would mean others could be 'indoorsy' and to be honest, that's where I put myself. That doesn't mean 'couch potato' just that I love going out for dinner, wandering around museums and/or bookstores, new towns/cities, antique stores, taking in live theatre or music, talking to people, good-friend gatherings, or watching a good movie. That's what 'rows my boat' as it were.. I do have a goofy Golden Retriever though, and we love to go walking - town, beach or woods. I have ventured out of (and realize the importance of stepping out of) my 'comfort zones', eg. rock climbing, snow shoeing and surfing (thanks to my sons!). I am quite willing and love the challenge but do require a bit of a nudge sometimes. :) perhaps a lunch date and a stroll afterward...
