Hi!I have a great career that is chugging along nicely, one that I enjoy and I appreciate the life it affords me. Like many others here, I have great friends and family (I swear, mine are better ;-) that I take the time to enjoy as much as I can. My appreciation of the arts, music and culture is vast and I love to enjoy them all locally as much as possible...my music taste leans on the Indie side and between friends, I have been known as the mixed playlist girl. So if we date and it doesn't work out, you will likely get a killer "mixed tape" out of the deal! I can be serious when appropriate, but friends who know me would say I am playful, light hearted and look for humour in daily life. I have been called a foodie (I could be called worse) and I enjoy experimenting with food and wine both in our fantastic city at large and at home in my kitchen. I love to cook but it is always more fun with a sous chef at my side and a glass of wine in my hand. I have traveled quite extensively which has only proven to me that there is so much more to see and experience.... I am in my happy place when exploring hidden gems of the world.) I enjoy being outside on the ocean, on the mountains or in the city. I love to snowboard and "surf"..see foodie reference above) to cuddled up to watch a good movie or an episode of the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Shameless or The Newsroom.My "fit" would be a man with a little edge- and by that i do not mean face-tattoo-edge - I mean witty and would feel comfortable at an indie concert or a wine tasting, and someone with varied life experiences.I am independent and self sufficient but I would like to meet that one man I can consider a partner in the true sense of the word - to take care of each other when one needs care, to share in life's realities, humour, dreams, hardships, and successes. Why I'm here --...gotta start from somewhere :) I love the summer, more so than the winter. With that said, i do love how pretty it is outside when the snow is falling. When the sun is out, I feel the need to be out enjoying it. Going for a walks, a bike ride, playing in a garden or just sitting on the deck-even better if a storm is coming in :) Thunder and lightening are one of my favorite things. I don't mind the rain, hearing it fall, especially at night, to me, it's so peaceful. Drives to nowhere in particular are a good way to spend a lazy Sunday ...listening to Sunday tunes, of course..... :). I'm also up for trying new things. I enjoy all kinds of music because with it comes many memories and smiles. I believe that timing is very important when it comes to meeting someone with that potential of a relationship in mind. I find myself in a place where I'm willing to share experiences with that "someone special". I'm searching for the right chemistry, the butterflies in my tummy, remember those? Giving this another try...what's the worst that can happen right!? I'm going to give this area some thought because I really should be asleep...so..to be continued...after a night of sleep and an entire day of driving...i'll have something super funny and witty laced heavily with sarcasm for you to read.
