A brief synopsis of me....I am a single mom, with great friends and my family and love to laugh. My kids are still youngish and they are my priority...and while my mom side and my own me side are separate, it is inevitable that should a connection exist, there will be some overlap. If this isn't in your comfort zone, then I am not for you. I enjoy being active and have been known to adventure and tackle a few challenges here and there. I am fit, but I am not ultra-fit or built like it, but definitely make staying active a big part of my life and make it happen daily. I am always looking at new ways to make that happen in fun ways. I like to think I'm quick witted and think I'm pretty good at dishing it out, and taking it. Sarcasm and witty banter is most definitely something that makes me smile. I am up front and honest and am only looking for the same. I can ask the hard question, give the hard answer and pretty much feel like it should just be told the way it is. For better or for worse, I wear my heart on my sleeve and my loyalty to my friends and family is unwavering. That said, I'm confident in what I want and what I have to offer and don't think it serves anyone to settle. I absolutely believe that you get what you give and that life is far too short to not take a few risks and go out on a few limbs...it's the only life we have and I kind of subscribe to the notion that I won't regret what I did...only what I chose not to try.I prefer an intimate group of friends to a room full of strangers, but am certainly able to hold my own in any venue. I can be reserved and somewhat shy by nature initially, but once I hit that ultimate comfort zone, watch out! Jeans and flip flops; little black dress and heels; business attire...all within my comfort zone.I have been here on and off at various times. I've met some nice people, remain great friends with some, but for me, I haven't made the connection I would like to, so here I am. My profile says that I am looking for a relationship...that's kind of a hard one. While ultimately I am, that will happen when it's the right time and the right connection and new friends can't really be a bad thing :)I have posted a pic and really ask the same, or if you aren't comfortable with that, please send one along. We all like to know who we are talking with :) Here's my black and white though....I am looking to meet someone that I connect with; someone to laugh and share fun times with; someone honest and open and real. I am not interested in flings or serial dating. I think life is nicer when you have that special someone to share the adventure with! When I meet that someone, I won't be choosing to date others, and ultimately, that someone should be of the same mindset. For me, it is also important that your past is your past. We all have the experiences that have shaped us over the years, some good, some bad. I also know there are always bumps in the road, but in general my bags are neatly packed, and I expect the same :)Okay...so apparently that wasn't so brief ;) Did I mention I can ramble? If you got through it, then who knows....maybe there is something there :)

My hobbies:These are a few things that I really enjoy doing, spending quiet evenings at home watching a movie, sitting around a bonfire with family and friends, going to one of my favorite restaurants and having a few drinks on the patio. I also enjoy trying new things, I've already been sky diving and next I'd like to try zip lining. Another one of my hobbies is reading - I do it every night before I go to sleep.Goals and Aspirations:I've already reached a few of my goals, I've lost 46 pounds and have kept if off for over 2 years now and I am able to provide my boys with a good home. These are things I accomplished after I became separated. I aspire to always provide a good home for my family and just continue to live a happy life now all I need is to find someone to share it with. About myself and what makes me unique:I'm a sucker for a guy who can make me laugh and a guy with rhythm, throw in a full head of hair and I might just love you for life. Does any of that make me unique?Music:I enjoy all kinds of music (the only music I really don't listen to is rap, classical and heavy metal - don't like the screaming) I love Elvis and believe he never released a bad song......You get the idea..... First dates that I've enjoyed have been dinner and drinks at one of our fine restaurants followed by a movie if dinner goes well. Doing something fun like mini golf is also good but I tend to develop a potty mouth if my game goes sour.............I'm open to suggestions - if it sounds fun I'd be willing to try it.

Fit, Fun and Forty. What does one say about themselves on here? I love the outdoors for our two seasons summer and winter. I like winter when it is not ***then I am in front of a fire place with a beverage or board game. Playing golf, trip to the mountains, a hike, working out, camping (real camping) chilling, football/hockey game. Calgary Stampede. Watching the sun rise or set (while sipping wine)Independent and out going. Have two great boys which I adore and love. I share them half the time with their Dad. I can't imagine my life with out them. What do I want? Well life is fun, but better when you have someone you love that comes along for the ride. Support each other but at the same time laugh at each other. Make each other feel loved. It is great to have the same interests but I will have mine and you will have yours, but if we connect we will want to do almost everything together:)) I do enjoy someone who is easy going, adventurous, fit, laughs, spontaneous and likes to stay active but at the same time does not feel uncomfortable just hanging doing nothing. No drama needed but Honesty yes. PDA is a bonus. OH and I am not on here to chat endelessly so if you aren't interested in meeting please move on. Doing something outdoorsy/athletic, or just going for a beer or two. (I don't drink coffee :)) Water yes.
