A brief synopsis of me....I am a single mom, with great friends and my family and love to laugh. My kids are still youngish and they are my priority...and while my mom side and my own me side are separate, it is inevitable that should a connection exist, there will be some overlap. If this isn't in your comfort zone, then I am not for you. I enjoy being active and have been known to adventure and tackle a few challenges here and there. I am fit, but I am not ultra-fit or built like it, but definitely make staying active a big part of my life and make it happen daily. I am always looking at new ways to make that happen in fun ways. I like to think I'm quick witted and think I'm pretty good at dishing it out, and taking it. Sarcasm and witty banter is most definitely something that makes me smile. I am up front and honest and am only looking for the same. I can ask the hard question, give the hard answer and pretty much feel like it should just be told the way it is. For better or for worse, I wear my heart on my sleeve and my loyalty to my friends and family is unwavering. That said, I'm confident in what I want and what I have to offer and don't think it serves anyone to settle. I absolutely believe that you get what you give and that life is far too short to not take a few risks and go out on a few limbs...it's the only life we have and I kind of subscribe to the notion that I won't regret what I did...only what I chose not to try.I prefer an intimate group of friends to a room full of strangers, but am certainly able to hold my own in any venue. I can be reserved and somewhat shy by nature initially, but once I hit that ultimate comfort zone, watch out! Jeans and flip flops; little black dress and heels; business attire...all within my comfort zone.I have been here on and off at various times. I've met some nice people, remain great friends with some, but for me, I haven't made the connection I would like to, so here I am. My profile says that I am looking for a relationship...that's kind of a hard one. While ultimately I am, that will happen when it's the right time and the right connection and new friends can't really be a bad thing :)I have posted a pic and really ask the same, or if you aren't comfortable with that, please send one along. We all like to know who we are talking with :) Here's my black and white though....I am looking to meet someone that I connect with; someone to laugh and share fun times with; someone honest and open and real. I am not interested in flings or serial dating. I think life is nicer when you have that special someone to share the adventure with! When I meet that someone, I won't be choosing to date others, and ultimately, that someone should be of the same mindset. For me, it is also important that your past is your past. We all have the experiences that have shaped us over the years, some good, some bad. I also know there are always bumps in the road, but in general my bags are neatly packed, and I expect the same :)Okay...so apparently that wasn't so brief ;) Did I mention I can ramble? Why I'm here --...gotta start from somewhere :) I love the summer, more so than the winter. With that said, i do love how pretty it is outside when the snow is falling. When the sun is out, I feel the need to be out enjoying it. Going for a walks, a bike ride, playing in a garden or just sitting on the deck-even better if a storm is coming in :) Thunder and lightening are one of my favorite things. I don't mind the rain, hearing it fall, especially at night, to me, it's so peaceful. Drives to nowhere in particular are a good way to spend a lazy Sunday ...listening to Sunday tunes, of course..... :). I'm also up for trying new things. I enjoy all kinds of music because with it comes many memories and smiles. I believe that timing is very important when it comes to meeting someone with that potential of a relationship in mind. I find myself in a place where I'm willing to share experiences with that "someone special". I'm searching for the right chemistry, the butterflies in my tummy, remember those? I do believe that its possible, maybe i'm a bit of a dreamer :)Will add more as thoughts come...but for now...its a little glimpse of me :) Happy fishing!! Thanks for stopping to read my profile!This is one of the worst parts, trying to talk your self up to that unknown person out there in cyber-space! LolWell where to start, I am a happy person, I love my girls, they are very important to me, but both of them are older now and don't need me as much. So here I am looking for my mister right, but in the mean time making some friends would be great also.I am not into games, I don't play them and don't want them played on me. I am a honest person and I value and respect someone who can be honest with me. If you are not into me after a few dates then let me know, I will also do the same thing. I am a cat and dog lover, I am comfortable in runners or in high heels, I enjoy camping, I go every year for a week with all of my family. Friends and family are very important to me.
