Hi, Well here I go again… giving it one more try! :)Looking for an HONEST, caring, family kind of guy.I’m a sensitive, loving, caring and open-minded person. My friends and family would describe me as very sensitive, caring and compassionate. Someone who loves to laugh and talk about life and human nature. Spiritual but not religious.I met my first boyfriend at college. I met my second one at my first professional job at a film industry, I met my third boyfriend at a bar (I know, bad), I met my fourth boyfriend through friends and it lasted a long time and even if we broke up because of "wants/needs" we're forever best friends. I met my last partner on the internet... he is known as a "narcisstic sociopath" (said by professional help I saw afterwards.... yikes!).I’m hoping to find a man who is romantic (still believes in giving flowers for no reason and I'd do the same for him), caring, playful and spontaneous! :)..... a patient man, (non-smoker).. a communicator... someone who wants to grow and learn together.. enjoys intimacy/affection... who has a laid back nature but also has a drive to pursue things. Someone who truly loves animals and children (and would possibly like to experience having a child together. I know I'm "older" but my grandmother had my mother when she was 43 .. so? :) ...). I do have one beautiful girl who is soon 7 years old this month. She has Rett Syndrome. This means she can't walk or talk or use her hands purposefully. But she's "there". She's not vacant at all!Again, I'd like to find someone who has a creative/playful side... and someone who has the time and desire to get to know each other. I have a good life, good friends and great sons, all I'd like now is the Great Guy! :)I recently wrote this to someone and think I need to add this to my profile since I'm in the Land of the Outdoorsy, I'm feeling like a fish out of water...I recently came to the realization that if some people are 'outdoorsy' than that would mean others could be 'indoorsy' and to be honest, that's where I put myself. That doesn't mean 'couch potato' just that I love going out for dinner, wandering around museums and/or bookstores, new towns/cities, antique stores, taking in live theatre or music, talking to people, good-friend gatherings, or watching a good movie. That's what 'rows my boat' as it were.. I do have a goofy Golden Retriever though, and we love to go walking - town, beach or woods. I have ventured out of (and realize the importance of stepping out of) my 'comfort zones', eg. rock climbing, snow shoeing and surfing (thanks to my sons!). I am quite willing and love the challenge but do require a bit of a nudge sometimes. :) perhaps a lunch date and a stroll afterward...
