If things I stated above bother you, than obviously I'm not someone you want to learn more about.With my kids being older and not needing me, i suddenly have all this free time on my hands, so *** sitting at home watching tv or finding a hobby, i found boot camp and crossfit. I started doing crossfit three weeks ago and while its a tough workout, I enjoy it. I like the challenge and pushing myself to work harder and become stronger with each workout. I am a single parent that enjoys hanging out and socializing with good friends and family. I have three children, though they're not really children anymore. My daughter is 22, lives on her own and goes to work and school, my son is 20 and still lives with me and goes to school and work. My 12 year old spoiled angel is of course still at home with me. I enjoy country western dancing and get out on occassion when work and other demands on my schedule allow it. Dancing is fun but what I enjoy the most is the great friends I've met who also enjoy getting out to dance, hang out and socialize as a group. I would like to find that one special person who can appreciate that I do not "need" someone; I would just like to find the right person for me. I am confident and independent. I would be grateful to find a partner that I get along with in the long term. The first quality that attracts me to someone is their personality. I love a guy who can make me laugh with his witty sense of humor and who is confident in himself. I think confidence is another attractive quality in a guy because it shows that he is not dependent on others and he knows himself well. I want someone that I would like being with, whether while having fun or taking care of business. I believe loving one another while respecting each other's differences and individuality is important. Communication skills and the ability to compromise would be valued traits. Naturally, we would have to have the chemistry that would make it easy for us to be mutually happy together in the long term. Meet for a drink or dancing it doesn't matter to me.

    I am looking for someone that is preferably still in their 30's or early 40's. I'm a mom to two kids ages 9 & 12. I stay busy! I like to do outdoorsy/rednecky things such as camping, bonfires, monster trucks, tractor pulls & concerts, yet I can put on a dress & act proper when necessary. I love all music but country is my favorite, as i love a good story! I have to have my daily dose of music--depends on my mood as to the genre of music--metal/80's/gospel/bluegrass, southern/classic rock/oldies/disco etc! I laugh a lot & am pretty laid back in attitude. I'll tell you how I feel in a heartbeat, good or bad. You're not going to have to guess if I'm mad but when it's over, it's over. I'm not a grudge holder. I expect & hope for the same from a partner. I am not athletic but I rarely stop until bedtime & am by no means lazy! I like to travel any weekend I can & love a short, impromptu weekend away with/without the kids. I make it mandatory to take in a sunset over the river from my front porch at least once a week--a glass of wine in hand. Good for the soul. I have lots of fun and try to live life to the fullest! Someone that can help me with projects around the house and that isn't jealous that I might have more power tools than he does. :-) Someone that likes to hang with friends at a bonfire on the river and drink, talk and listen to music without it getting out of hand. Camping, fishing and a general love of good weather and outdoors--no couch potatoes here! Someone that will do kid things with us and isn't afraid to jump in the car and take off for the weekend to see the leaves changing or find as many waterfalls as we can in one day. Something like an educated redneck. I'd like to be able to hold an intelligent conversation, maybe debate some hot topics and solve the world's problems over a bottle of wine or some beers. A little rough around the edges but not afraid to show some feelings now and then. High energy but able to relax on a Sunday evening. A productive citizen with a wild side. Someone that has his own interests, let's me have mine, but we still spend the majority of our time together. I guess my wish list is long, but they asked!! :-) Nothing fancy, just maybe out for drinks and appetizers... on the water maybe... some conversation and getting to know each other...
