I am a hardworking, self-sufficient woman. I was a single mother for years. I could not figure out how to date and be a good parent simultaneously. Maybe one day I'd be willing to go there again. But really I'm just looking for a partner in crime. Someone to have fun with and go on adventures with. There are no set requirements for first date. Meeting for a drink or to have coffee is fine. A long walk (accompanied by my dog of course) at a park or cemetery (and no I don't mean a dark, scarey, weird place). Dinners seem to me a bit too much for a first date. If the chemistry is not there, it can make for a long, uncomfortable meal! Same with movies, and movies do not afford the ability to talk and get to know one another.
