Im an optimistic so thats why I thought I'd try this online dating thing again. Seems my waiting for a man to drop on my lap plan isnt working. Even considered making single cards *** business card and handing them out to hot, non ring wearing guys. Then thought it might come off crazy. Ok now Me, me, me.... I do though have a 9 year old girl and a 20 year old son. One needs a daddy but has one the other can be a daddy. So all is good on that end..lol Now whats got me to joint Pof?. New to this dating world since I was 23, I've found it hard to meet guys. Where do you go the bar? Yeah not for me, makes me feel like a whore looking for that John without the cash and sex exchanged...lol .jk So here I am trying the online dating thing. I do like going to the bar but with friends to have a good time and dance though. What am I looking for in a man? huh, many, many, many, many, things. Wait did i mention many? Lol jk If I rambled on about what I want in a man I'm sure you being a man (at least I hope you are) you'll hear blah! blah! blah! but I will say this I believe if there is honesty, trust, humor and Christ in a relationship there could be a happily ever after with it. Now I'm not a Barbie doll by any means. No high maintenance here but I still like girly things. I just have never found a need to spend an hour gettin ready when I could sleep another 58 minutes..lmao...jk I do like my jeans but I love to dress up if I've got a purpose. I also find no need to put a lot of make up on my face. In most of my pics on here im make up free. Natural beauty is what I like to all it....lol, Im just a unique woman what can i say. I even brush my teeth in the shower. I've discovered through life that is pretty unique...Try it, you'll never have a tooth paste mess again and you can even spit on yourself. When is the last time you can say you did that? I find flossing is easier out of the shower though. First date is going to take more then adding me to your favorites without talking to me. Shocker I know...lol

My life is full and I'm excited for all of the things going on right now...meeting someone to share that with would just be icing on the cake. I stay busy with work, a burgeoning business, volunteer work, writing, friends and family - but am ready to add some dating into that mix and see what's in store. The last couple of years I have been focusing more on health and fitness. Recently started a training regimen to cycle a ***mile tour in Summer of ***for charity. I was on the tour this summer as support team and absolutely loved it. Came away inspired to cycle it - my trainer is awesome, albeit hardcore, and I'm loving it. I want to lead an active/healthy lifestyle going forward and hope to share that with someone. I have my faith in God and relationship with Him that has been a part of my life all along - He's always faithful. This world is a tough enough place without hope for a future and a God who loves us. I hope to share this faith with my partner in life.I am looking for someone who is self aware, honest, kind compassionate with a heart for others. I'm a woman who almost always has a smile on her face. I look for the silver lining in every situation. I know God has a plan for me and I hold on to that even when it seems like things aren't going my way.I love to laugh and laugh easily. Sometimes at completely innapropriate things. I like to make others laugh too but don't always think quick on my feet. I usually come up with the *** 2 days too late.I'm pretty shy at first. I'm not completely the same person with everybody. I don't have multiple personalities... just different people draw out different aspects of me. I'm an observer but not very observant if that makes any sense at all.I'm not a daredevil. I have no desire to skydive, EVER! But I'd love to go ziplining. Maybe parasailing or in a hot air balloon. I love riding on the back of a motorcycle. I would consider learning to ride my own. I will write a book someday. I would love to learn to shoot. I love camping. I think I like fishing. I'd like to be a gardener someday.I love music. I will most often be listening to classic rock, country or contemporary christian. My favorite tv shows are Law and Order SVU, NCIS and Chopped. I love to read romance novels and home decor magazines. I did read the 50 shades books. No, I am not into that lifestyle.I have three kids. My 17 year old daughter lives with me full time and my 11 year old son lives with his dad but spends a few days of the week with me. He thinks mom is pretty boring on her own so hopes that I find a friend that likes to do cool stuff.I would like to find a man with nice eyes and an easy smile. Belief in God is an absolute must. I desire to lead a healthier life and be more active so it would be great if those are your goals also. Someone who is considerate of others' feelings and not judgemental. Someone who still has a lot of life and fun in them and isn't ready to just sit on the couch and retire. Someone who is more outgoing than myself (which doesn't take much) who will gently and patiently ease me past my own comfort zone to try new things. I'd like a man that can be strong and assertive without being an overbearing ass. I want to live life with purpose on purpose and would like to find someone with that same mindset. Hiking, walking along the waterfront, a street fair.... anything that isn't just sitting across the table from each other. Being fairly shy, small-talk isn't my strong suit especially with someone I've never met before so if there is some kind of activity that would kind of take the edge off.
