About Me

I'm not really sure how to describe myself-- I am intelligent and have a great sense of humor. I'm very self-sufficient and independent. While I don't need a relationship to feel whole, sometimes it would be nice to have another half.I have *** many messages from men who have glaring grammatical and spelling errors in either their profiles or messages-- it's just not the way to make a good first impression-- so if you don't know which there/they're/their or which you're/your is proper, then I'm definitely not the girl for you-- just being honest-- nothing personalI'm not looking for perfection, but I am looking for someone who fits into my life and can complement my life with their own. That being said, I'd much rather be alone than with someone who is not right for me. I find it easier to decide that I am not interested than to figure out if I am. I don't let many people get close to me--I'm selective in my relationships. Romance should be present at all stages of a relationship-- there is no occasion too small to send flowers to my office just to show me that you care :) My potential mate must love children as they are a huge part of my life. Looks are important, but being good looking is not the be all end all***looks fade over time, but the friendship we develop should last forever. I enjoy concerts, movies, restaurants, and amusement parks-- I wish that I lived closer to the water and hope to do so again some day. My life is very full, but I have room to add that special person***could it be you? For a first date, I believe things should be casual-- maybe a drink or two, but not a full meal, as people tend to become uncomfortable while eating with people they don't know. If the date goes well, then the next could be longer, but I would rather have a quick first meeting to determine the level of interest before spending a longer evening with someone.

I may not be "perfect" but im me!!! what can i say that doesn't sound like everyone else on here? or sound corny? i like to have a good time, travel, laugh, see other people laughing, road trips, shooting, movies, day trips, pretty much up for anything fun. also like to just stay home and watch movies and relax. i like every type of music, from county to rap, yes rap, but not the hard core stuff. if you want to know anything else, just ask, i'll answer most questions!!!! maybe meet for a drink in a relaxed atmosphere

After reading several profiles, I've realized there are definitely 2 different categories of profiles: Detailed or NOT.I'm sure most people who take the time to sign up and create a profile appreciate the effort in a nicely worded description, and it confuses me why so many will write something as simple as, "I'm an open book... if you want to know something, just ask..." or "I'm not looking for any drama..." Aren't we all looking for someone who ultimately compliments us *** antagonizes us? And what about this open book comment I see every time I log in...what does that really mean, anyway? Are there closed books on this site looking to find the love of their life? Since I can only speak for myself and have little use for the profiles in the NOT category, I will do my best to write something to give people an idea of who I am.I am hoping to find my best friend, partner, lover and dream guy. He of course isn't perfect, but he is confident, funny, playful, not afraid to talk, and is just as excited to see me as I am to see him. He's cute because he's comfortable with who he is, whether he's short or tall, hair or not, thick or thin. He has a beautiful smile and isn't afraid to use it. Whatever his age he will be very young at heart, and is willing to live life and enjoys what this great world has to offer... I'm not really interested in staying in every night watching the news just yet. My parents have been married for 43 years and still look forward to seeing each other every day. They are best friends and fantastic role models- most definitely something I strive for in my next relationship.I have an 18 year old daughter who has recently become a pilot, which scares me more than I ever thought possible. I love her very much, she is becoming an amazing young woman and is a big part of my life. I enjoy playing poker, I'm always looking for a change in the daily routine, and welcome learning anything new. I've done a bit of traveling and would love to start doing a lot more. I tend to speak my mind freely, but am always willing to discuss differences rather than fighting or holding grudges. Communication is so important, and I've learned that I prefer someone who is able to talk through problems rather than yell and scream... I just don't understand how anyone wins with that type of relationship. I have had several different types of jobs, which has helped me develop an understanding of how people interact with each other. I have been in sales, social services work with at-risk teens, banking and corporate training- all different, yet each job offered some great advantages. I'll always have a soft spot for the kiddos, and have also done quite a bit of volunteer work to help out any way I can... they never cease to amaze me with their love and gratitude, it really takes so little to make kids feel loved (which should be felt by ALL kids).So- Please feel free to send me a message if you're interested in chatting for a bit, I'm not shy... oh yea, and per meetville qualifications... Yes, I have a car.Happy hunting fellow fisherman! :)

I would like to have one man in my life that I can hang out with, have passionate moments with, and still have my space when I need it, because I am somewhat independent and self-reliant. I want a man in my life, but I don't need a man in my life. However, you may be the guy that makes me fall head over heals and want to spend every waking moment with you. Anything is possible. I want to be cherished, as I will cherish you in return; I think that is the most important verb in a relationship. But other than that, what you see is what you get. Yes, I am a curvy, voluptuous woman. I could stand to lose some weight, but it's not a priority for me; love me for what is on the inside and don't expect perfection. I am very forthcoming about what I want in life. I am fully responsible for myself and I expect you to be as well. I am very passionate. I am generous to a fault, even to people that I don't know (I get that from my dad). I am independent and outspoken. I am fiercely loyal and protective of the people that I care about. I hate drama. I love to travel; I like to attend local events like the street fair, a concert, spring training or even the swap meet. I like to go to happy hour, sing karaoke, dance my ass off to a live band, and go to the casino. I love to watch sports, especially the UofA, at a sports bar or a friend's house where we can enjoy a few drinks during the game. What I look for in a man: I am drawn to men that are outgoing and spontaneous; a person's looks will catch my eye but personality is what makes me want to get to know you better. I want someone who is down to earth and treats people with respect and consideration. I want someone that is comfortable in his own skin, that can be the life of the party or mellow and laid back, depending on the situation. Chemistry, spark, whatever you want to call it... that is important, and I will know right away if it is there."Life is short. Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss SLOWLY, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret ANYTHING that makes you smile." ~ Blige, Patsy Cline, Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5........ I hate Starbucks, but happy hour would be ideal to get comfortable with each other and take the edge off cuz I get nervous, or maybe even a sporting event where the atmosphere is casual. Somewhere that we can flirt and have fun and not have to worry about which fork to use with which dish.
