Well here goes with the long-winded version...I am an emotionally stable, intelligent mother and student. I am currently working through my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology for social work. I am a very self-aware person and have realized that I am extremely empathetic with a great amount of passion for many things including helping people to achieve what they are truly working towards. I enjoy raising my girls and cherish every moment as I watch them grow and change and become who they want to be. I am passionate about cooking and very much enjoy creating my own spin on dishes. I am an avid fan of zombies (everyone is a little crazy) and generally you will find me listening to heavy metal and watching horror movies. Then again you may find me watching comedy and listening to Mozart. I am sarcastic which is generally quite fun, although my 5 year old is quite sarcastic herself and the jury is out as to whether I will spend most of my time in school in meetings since she is often quicker with the comebacks than I am (the student has somewhat surpassed the teacher). My teen is also sarcastic but I think that is more of a teen thing as I have ceased to be cool. I enjoy a variety of things but good conversation is the most important. I enjoy people who can keep up with me and challenge me. I may be a bit stubborn to admit I am wrong, but if you know and can prove that you are right then you will win. :-) I do not have a particular 'type' of person that I am looking for. No matter how many times people say it, it still holds true that the real beauty in a person is what is felt, not what is seen. Honesty and responsibility are big for me. I do ask that people be adults on here. Like most people here I am starting over. I took the past year for just me, I made a list of things I wanted to do and I have to say I have checked off most my list for this year :) I thought I'd give this a try - why not? I am usually on the go but enjoy my down time as well. I am very much a girl at times and yet I'm not afraid to get dirty. I enjoy a little bit of everything. I like motorcycling, boating, camping, fishing, pool, Vikings, hanging out with friends and family, quiet nights, bonfires, dive bars. I like to travel when I can. I enjoy all kinds of music. I will try most things once.I am very close to family and friends, are very important to me, but like most missing that extra something. I have a twenty year old son who has graduated college already and is on his own. We get together when we can but never seems like enough, but he is off enjoying his new life as well and I'm a proud mom.
