So about me...I'm a 37 year old single mother of a beautiful well adjusted 14 year old daughter. She brightens my day and has certainly kept me going at times. I enjoy spending my free time watching my daughter on the Soccer field (as that is serious business, lol) going to the beach or laying by the pool. I also enjoy fishing which I don't get to do often. I am not high maintenance and can enjoy going out to dinner or staying in and cooking and watching a movie. I like my Nike shorts, 17th street t-shirts, hoodies and yoga pants...of course with my reef flip flops no matter what the season is. I do like to get dressed up here and there and feel cute or sexy. I like natural beauty. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and my hair is well…curly so there’s not but so much I can do there, lol. I don’t like to be the center of attention; I don’t feel the need to draw tons of attention to myself. When I go places I tend to focus on the people that I am with *** trying to draw attention from those I am not. I’m not big on hot spots or the bar scene as I prefer places where I can actually talk to and hear the people that I am with. I guess to some that could be boring but at this stage in my life I am past all of that.I asked my friends how they would describe me and they said I am funny, sarcastic, loyal, intense, impatient at times, happy, trustworthy, head strong and honest. I care deeply for my friends and family and will go above and beyond for them sometimes at the expense of myself. I figure your lucky enough in this life to have people truly love and care about you why not return it, we only live once so we may as well make the best of it :)I love listening to music, talking and reading trashy romance novels...a guilty pleasure for sure. I don't watch to much TV but that is usually because I have found a book more interesting. I like to stay up late even if it means I have a hard time getting up in the morning. I enjoy snuggling up for an afternoon nap on a cold and rainy day. I like to hop in the car for spur of the moment road trips. Its fun to be a tourist sometimes. I am not superficial I don't want someone who is all about material things. I am ready to meet someone who I feel like is excited to talk to me and get to know me. I want a happily ever after as corny as that may sound. I want someone to share life with. I am not the girl that you have to wonder what she is thinking or where you stand. I have a lot to offer someone who is truly interested and I hope that is in God’s plan for me. If not I will make the best of what I do have, but I am not ready to settle for being alone forever just yet. I am hoping to find someone that is honest, dependable, trustworthy and can keep up with me. I love to laugh so a good sense of humor and someone that can carry on a conversation is a big plus in my book. I don't always have a lot of free time but I will make time for the people that I care about and I will definitely make time for someone that could be a good match for me on here. Yikes, I thought these things would write themselves, but no - so here's the scoop:I love:...fun, I'm always up for a laugh and mad about anyone who makes me smile or smirk, and anyone with a quirky/dry sense of humour is always a hit....sport - outdoors - crazy about rowing.-up but I'd be fairly confident :-) Running to loud dodgy music. Swimming in the sea, skiing badly. And of course my bike....hanging out with my mates - whether it's for chilling out or going out, you can never have enough....music, from 90s classics of Tindersticks & Stone Roses to The XX & The National. Still haven't lost the clubbing bug and absolutely love going to gigs....travelling, but who doesn't?- and of course you can't beat Cork boy....speaking of which, hanging out with my family and being the cool aunt, definitely....and rambling on about myself.And for the bad bits...friends might say that I'm (endearingly) completely disorganised, sometimes scatty, always late. But a great friend, I think.So that's it.D Hmm...I know everyone says coffee but I'd rather a drink -
