Above all, I enjoy synergistic belly laughter with family and friends. With a zeal for life and an insatiable attraction to the great outdoors, I love road trips, camping and traveling to lands far away. I love ALL things A-L-A-S-K-A-N. I enjoyed an amazing childhood in the wilds of The Last Frontier.k.a. just down the creek from the Palins). I love the notion of living in a tree house along the ocean...maybe someday. :) I'm nearly always up for hiking, trying new ethnic foods and cultural experiences, fishing, camping and local theater and artistic impressions, a day on the water, or a run in the rain...or a stroll on the beach at sunset. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my grandparents' generation and mentoring teenagers and young adults. I like cooking for and entertaining friends. Last year, I jumped at the opportunity to return to college and pursue a degree in nursing, something that is a very innate part of who I am. I feel blessed by the life I've been given, I'm tremendously grateful for the experiences I've had, appreciate the lessons I've learned during trying times and look forward to the unknown adventures that await! P.s. Jesus is my favorite super hero. Here's why~ He's a simple man. Who performed miracles. Like healing blind people and turning water to wine (HELLO, He's got me right here!!!) He even taught us to love our neighbors and that it's not our place to judge hookers and lepers. If this concerns you, run for your life! ;) If not, proceed with caution to the nearest exit. First date ideas? How about a bike ride, a run or roller- The charming picturesque 'ol towns of St. Live theater and small local music venues are usually a hit. Sometimes, it's nice to 'play tourists' for the day in the Twin Cities doing a couple of things that you normally only would do when out-of-town company visits. Also, there are great coffee shops and art galleries in Uptown to peruse through, geocaching (modern day pirate/treasure hunting) or even a community service project of mutual interest are a few final fun ideas...anything and anyplace that provides a fun backdrop that allows for conversation to freely flow and connections to build...just no obnoxiously loud bars for a get-to-know-you kind of date, please :)
