This summary is a little old so if you want to know anything, just ask. Oh, and guys, under "Body Type" on your profile, athletic doesn't mean you like sitting on your sofa, chugging beer while watching sports, it means you actually take care of your body.Change can be a very good thing. I worked as an economist for a year, I decided to quit my job to pursue my passion of getting my degree in graphic design. About a year ago, I was laid off from my design job and it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me. The time off gave me the opportunity to learn so much about myself and what I want out of life. When one door closes, another definitely opens.Recently, I bought my first house and spend a lot of my free time spackling, painting and decorating. My porch is one of my favorite places — I love relaxing out there with a glass of wine (or a beer!) and a good book.Living an active, healthy life is very important to me. I try to workout pretty much every day, I love running or hiking with my dog — anything to get outside. I also enjoy cooking (maybe I should call it experimenting?) and love trying to come up with new, healthy meals to make. I more than happy hanging at home, watching movies (I’m probably the only person you’ll know who has a 52” flat screen and no cable) but I do clean up pretty well and also enjoy going out, trying new restaurants, going to concerts and shows, etc.I'm a total beach bum and I'm always up for a road trip. Also, I’m looking for someone who isn’Lastly, a few random things about me: the glass is always half-full, I'm an obsessive recycler, although I love sports I must admit that I throw like a girl, and I have an unusually large flip flop collection. I like to watch movies with the closed captioning on and I also totally cheat at Words with Friends. I take pride in my loyalty — my friends and family are very important to me, I’m painfully organized, fairly uncoordinated, very low maintenance (normally don't wear makeup and haven't owned a hair dryer since I was in college), totally drama-free, and always interested in learning and trying new things.Like many, I’m looking for the clichéd “best friend”: the guy I’m totally attracted to who can have an intelligent conversation and also be a total goofball (and know when each is appropriate); someone who shares my interests, can be independent, has a good heart with a good head on his shoulders and, above all, is honest. Something low key to get to know one another. If it turns into something, great!
