Hello. . Cliche.. But I'm new to this whole idea. I thought maybe trying a site that costs money might give me the option of meeting someone more serious about this on line dating idea. But, if I choose to do it and I'm serious, then maybe the next honest guy will be thinking the same thing... I am back after apparently being deleted for some unknown reason..I am gonna give this another shot but recently this site has gotten really shady, with fake people and profiles..I am a single mother of 3 kids and I have a grandson. I have a 20 year old son who has a son who will be 2 years old in November ***. I have a 16 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. My kids are my world and come first before myself or anything else so let's get that out there up front. With that being said they are not babies so I can usually go out with little to no difficulty. I just will not blow them off if they need me or are involved with something that I need to attend. I love spending time with my family and friends. One now lives in Germany and the other I see almost every day.I listen to all kinds of music. I love to dance, write poetry (I have actually had 2 poems published), scrapbook, read, travel, hang out with friends, go to wine tasting and visit wineries, love movies both going and just curl up and watch them at home. I love going to the beach it is my peaceful place. Sitting on the beach at sunset with a drink, my toes in the cool sand and smelling the ocean air and listening to the waves....Don't be a player cause I'llshut you down with a quickness. OK...I was on this site in the past, and can't say I was too impressed. Sure a lot of you feel the same..lol. I am one of the few, at least I hope there are more like me out there, who actually do not enjoy playing games and hiding behind my computer. I want to get out and meet someone at least halfway "sane" and do things..get outside, go for a drive, a hike, out to eat, movies etc. I hear of success stories, yet am kind of hoping I will end up one myself :)I like to take care of myself..and NO this does not mean I am "high maintenance" lol..Oh well, I guess that's for the guy that messages me and has guts to find out..haha. I like to joke, but know when to be serious. I love animals, and hate people who are cruel to them. I swear I like animals more than people. I love a guy that can make me laugh, and has a very strong sense of who he is..confidence is a must.FYI to some of the guys on this site, don't bs about your height, if you have hair, or your age. It's not like you can really keep that from someone so why bother?? I'm sure women are guilty of this as well! No pics wearing beaters, or shirts off in front of the mirror..clearly screams DBag. I like to call this a first meeting, not a first date. If the company is right, and everything is going smoothly, a coffee could lead to dinner..We all know how awkward dates can be, so why put any sort of pressure on it? :) Simple is the way to go..then it feels better for both parties.
