About Me

Hi!-November). No one seems to like writing these things and I am no exception! A little about me…I'm happiest when I’m experiencing new things, seeing new places, meeting new people. Now that I'm in an entirely new environment, it seems the sky is limit on everything new! I’m an optimist disguised behind a cynics’ façade. Most people mistake my quietness for seriousness, but I’m actually a big goofball. I just don’t share it with everyone! I sing in the car, the shower, while randomly walking down the street and whenever the mood strikes me, but I won't sing into a mic. I can be a bit of a rebel, but it’s easily managed and I have a great moral compass. I have many interests, but very few hobbies. I am most attracted to intellectuals, who have a good balance of creativity and prefer to think outside of the box. I like creative types! I’m interested in getting to know one person (I don't date as a hobby) who fits into my life as much as I can fit into theirs. I am perfectly content being single, but I admit that life is more fun when you have a partner to share adventures with! I have two daughters ***and 9) and they are an important part of my life. Realistically, anyone who comes into my life comes into theirs – as a friend. They are well rounded and quite remarkable human beings so I’m proud to have them around. I’m also somewhat independent – so I need my alone time every now and then. I’m a good communicator and don’t make others guess what I am thinking or feeling. I prefer not to argue, don’t hold grudges and get over things pretty quickly – mostly because they take up too much energy that I want to spend on other things, like making up! Generally, I am a peaceful soul who stops to help stranded animals on the side of the road, doesn't litter (huge pet peeve of mine!) and just tries to live a life that I can be proud of! I like to have quiet time to myself to reflect and relax for those moments I need a time out :) Yes, a quiet cup of coffee first thing in the morning is a definite must for this girl...at least I admit it :) I don't watch many sports on tv except for boxing and UFC, but I don't mind a partner who enjoys watching sports...as I may read a book curled up beside him. I do though like watching any sport event in person regardless what the sport is...except something like ping pong :) I am a woman who will express myself and isn't afraid to speak up if I need to. I wish to find a genuine gentleman, someone who knows how to treat a lady properly and I'd like to treat him back the same way (as a man, not lady lol). I am not interested in being a serial dating and going out just for the sake of getting out of the house as that would be pointless if there doesn't seem to be any interest that is sparked before that initial meeting in person. I'm not much into camping for the sleeping in a tent on the ground thing as have done far too much of that in the past...though I could be brided if there are roasted marshmallows and a cot to sleep on. No I don't get dolled up to run to the grocery store...in fact I'll most likely be wearing a ball cap and Nike flip flops. (but I do enjoy spending time getting ready for a nice evening out...I just have to find a nice man to do that with :)Why do soooo many males post pics of themselves taken in a washroom? For the love of god at least put the toilet seat down when you *** :/ First date (it really isn't a date ...it should be called a "meet") should be as comfortable and easy going as possible for both of us. Meeting for a drink or coffee somewhere would appeal to me for that first initial meet...so it would be easy if one of us had to make a quick get-a-way ;) I may be a bigger girl but hell I can move quick if I gotta LOL (how about putting that cell phone away for as long as it takes to drink a coffee.....after all good manners go along way)

    OH for Pete's sake!!! There has to be someone out there that isn't bald & overweight. I have to be attracted to your photos to start.Im not looking for a rich old man either.
