Those small gestures mean so much, after a long exhausting day at work if you just say "pizza and couch" on a Sunday night you win. Why does every person on this thing "camp & hike".. Seriously everyone hikes and camps??? I don't like rats, bats, snakes, lizards, horror movies, body odor, eggplant, bad hygeine, doing dishes (but I do them), extreme heat, co-dependecy, and if your life still resembles a frat party on a weekly basis, then no bueno, no bueno at all... Put your big girl panties on and man-up.. Playing in 3 different softball leagues this spring and summer and a I hope a 4th come fall..     No one wants to be second best. If u know me, then u know I've made lots of less than wise choices in my life. And although I could have been smarter over the years....I see my life for what it is, one hell of a ride that got me where I am today. A ride that, although I still ache from the bumpy road, I wouldn't have missed for anything. There have been many pit stops along the way that left me tattered and torn...but also made it possible for my 3 saving graces to be born.I often picked the wrong traveling companions...that left me on the side of the road.....but the things they left behind more than made up for their lack of character. When I feel that God or life has cheated me in some karmic way...I force myself to look for the good things that can be taken from the bad. My children, my strength(that the Lord no doubt has given me to endure)and the long over due lesson I finally have learned.....I deserve better than second best, just as everyone does....guess I had to travel the road to get me to the place I am now.
