I am a 40 year old professional who loves animals and music. I am a very honest, considerate, genuine, silly woman who loves to laugh. I have been told time and again that I am very easy to talk to and I make people feel very comfortable. I was once described to have a "professional demeanor with an engaging personality". I liked that! :) I am looking for a relaxed, genuine man who can be honest with me and with himself. I have my own interests and like for my guy to have his own also. If you don't care for kids, then we probably won't get along because I am very much a kid at heart. I love to play! I really would like to meet an open minded, optimistic man. we need to lift one another up. :) I am open to trying new things with someone kind who is willing to lead the way. I do not need to be with a man ***but am loyal when we are apart. I expect the same.I would really like a man who thinks of ME as well as others and not just himself. I really pay attention to manners as I feel I am very mannerly and considerate. I like a versatile guy, a man who can adapt in different scenarios. I am a very understanding and realistic person who does not judge and would like a man who is the same.We cannot all be right for each other and we all deserve to have what truly brings us joy. After getting to know each other and one or both of us realize the genuine desire for a romantic relationship is not there then it needs to be said (and yes I know this can happen after the first meeting). I'm still not sure why so many people just "disappear". You can tell someone that they aren't really the right fit for you without being cruel. Heck, we have text messaging. It doesn't get any easier than that! You don't even have to speak the words. Geeeeez, MAN UP already. I am happy with who I am and know I have a lot to offer the right man but am content being alone with my pets, my friends and my family until I find "the one" who excites me. It's hard to describe who we are and what we want with words, ACTIONS tell all (I guess this is where the disappearing guys get off on a technicality, lol). I'm really not that complicated.     Well so far dating has not been a positive for me in any way, shape, or form. I wouldn't say I am a picky girlie, but I do know the kind of person that I click well with. I'm not writing a serious relationship off. But I don't have much faith left in the idea of being with Mr. Right. So let me tell you the basics on me and then I will tell you what I am looking for. I'm a pretty upfront person. I'd say I have a good head on my shoulders. I'm a TOTAL Gemini so I can be flip-floppy. But don't confuse that for flakey. I can be slightly stubborn at times, but fair, and I won't sugarcoat squat. I'm very strong willed. If I say I'm going to do something I do it. I'm also no pushover. But will not change for anyone and wouldn't ask anyone to for me. I have a teenage son who lives with his grandma. Good reasons, not bad. I've also been happily divorced twice. I'm human and made bad choices. I wasn't letting my son grow up with bad role models. With that being said.. Who am I looking for? Basically people who enjoy the same interests I do. That is an absolute MUST. Physically I tend to go for tall men. Especially blondes. A bit of honesty.. I'm not attracted to bald men. It's not personal, many women are. I'm just not.. I'm sure some men don't like redheads ;. Men who are confident and know who they are. I do go to the gym and follow a good diet, so I prefer men who are the same, age ***. So I'm only interested in talking to men who are fairly local. If I were to hit it off with someone I would't want a long distance thing and I won't relocate ;) Sense of humor is a must.
