To describe myself I would have to say I am very passionate, caring, intelligent and easy going. Rarely am I not smiling or having a good time. Ok, so I am going to write a bit more, since I had such a short profile initially...I would describe myself as intelligent, funny, sarcastic, beautiful (inside and out), determined, hard-working, sexy, caring, loyal, educated, independent, and not afraid to take on a challenge. I'm sure there are more great adjectives...I'm not into labels or plastic people. I prefer nice, respectful, good-hearted, sincere people. Life is too short to spend time with people doing things you don't enjoy (like going to clubs...not into that anymore). My time is precious, and with a two-year-old son, I don't get out much. So, I choose who I spend my time with and what I am doing wisely. If I choose to spend time with you, even on our first meeting, respect me and my time enough to show up, call with enough advanced notice if you are cancelling, and don't ask me last minute to do something (well, you can ask, but I will probably not be able to meet you). I don't have too many active hobbies right now. But, I am open to adopting some new ones--maybe I'll like some of yours?! I enjoy going to concerts and outdor festivals and such. I'm not into working out, but I'd love to take up some co-ed sports or activities. I am trying to lose some weight I gained after having my baby...so, I'm open to some working out too. It seems like every guy on here says he enjoys working out...no matter how chubby he looks in his pics. LOL. I like a man who takes care of himself, but not to the point of drinking protein shakes and being ridiculous about his meals. I love food. I am a foodie. One of my favorite things is going out to eat and drinking some nice wine. I am not going to enjoy going out to eat with you if you ask for your chicken breast plain, get veg *** carbs, say no to bread, and can't have a drink...BORING! I'd rather you be a little thick...a little! ;)Speaking of what I like in a man...I like tall guys. I won't *** message from you if you are at least 5'9", but I really prefer over 6'. I like thin/athletic builds, but a few extra pounds are ok as long as you carry them well and don't have a gut, love handles, etc. And, hey, maybe we can lose a few lbs together! I also go for light or lighter eyes. It's not necessarily a prerequisite, but I've noticed the guys that I've dated more seriously and longest all have light eyes. I also only date caucasian guys. I have ventured out, but, white guys are my thing. Oh, and another biggie...you have to have hair. I know a lot of guys my age are balding so they shave it off. But, a bald head doesn't do it for me. I'm sure there are plenty of great looking ladies that do like a smooth, bald head!If you are upset that you don't fit into my "taste" above, don't be. Its nothing personal. Everyone has a taste. Everyone has dating preferences. I don't need to hear from any of you about how shallow I am or how I'm missing out. That may well be true, but its not up to you to scold me for it. And, no, I don't think I'm perfect...far from it. Ok?!As for any baggage or drama...everyone has some, or you haven't lived...I am a woman...complicated, yet simple...independant, still looking for a knight in shining armor...have worked hard and accomplished a lot, and failed too...I have loved and lost, and been both too afraid to love, and afraid of never finding it...I am a control freak, but would love to have a man not too intimidated to take the reins...I have been hurt, used, ***, blown-off by men. This will obviously affect how I view men and love, but I am still open and hopeful that there is a man that is mature and man enough to realize what a real woman is and has to offer.I have many wonderful qualities, but I am not perfect (though this will be deleted forever, evidence destroyed, if I DO find someone--so you can never use my words against me) :)As I said above, I have a son. He is my world and takes up a lot of time. So, if that scares you, then I'm not right for you. I was never married to his father (less drama, I think). I'm not looking for a daddy for him. But, the man that I get involved with will have to be open to loving my son and taking care of him in a fatherly way, since he lives with me most of the time. There's no point in starting something with you if you already know you are done raising your kids or couldn't help love and raise another man's child. I AM looking to get married one day if I meet the right guy and I am his right girl. I love music, I love to sing,dance and just listen to it and usually very loud! I like to get a new cd (only certain favorite artists all other music is downloaded) open it crank it up and read the lyrics while my candles are lit and having a drink. I don't mind agreeing to disagree, I am a lover not a fighter.I am very social and personable the industry that I am in requires it. I have recently opened a new chapter in my life after working for corporate america for nine years I am pursuing making a living with my passion. I am looking forward to a simpler "relatively" stress free life. I am an investigation i.d. junkie psychology intrigues me. I love to laugh a lot so a good sense of humor is a must! I write when I make time I am working on five unfinished creative brainstorms and I really need to just focus on one and complete it! I also enjoy taking pictures however my friends and family never see them once loaded into my apple, it's a running joke with them. Basically I deejay and take event photos it's a blast and am happy to say I am happy, I would like to have fun,passion and long kisses. I would like to try new things, be interactive.
