I am forthright, confident and independent. However, I strongly believe in the old-fashioned ways in that the man is head of household, ultimately. I AM that girl! ;) Things that are import to me: passion, chemistry, personal growth, my faith, making an impact in children’s lives, being a fantastic and active mom, volunteering (mainly where young women, children, infants or new life are involved), making the man in my life feel like a king, taking his breath away, freedom to be me, laughter, intimacy, friends and family, recognizing answered prayers or blessings and thanking GOD for them regularly, raising my kids to know HIS unconditional I enjoy taking care of myself (and expect the same in the one I'm with). I don't stress much. I have been described as witty, corny, thoughtful, sharp, perceptive, intuitive, fun, youthful, active and my most flattering compliment here lately, REAL! I’m not a giddy or fake kind of woman. I can dress in dresses or skirts and heels, but much prefer my jeans and a pair of wedges or boots. I’m not afraid to be me and thoroughly enjoy who “me” is.. lol.. Most people do!What I would hope to find, someone who: (are you still reading) enjoys making others laugh or can be silly and laugh at themself, respects me, is a tad old-fashioned and who still believes in chivalry, that enjoys my silly attention, doesn't get uncomfortable in moments of silence, can’t keep their hands off me (when in a relationship), is easy going and doesn’t stress about matters that you can’t change, loves to kiss, is confident, is assertive, only likes to cuddle for the first few minutes (lol), isn’t lazy, is generally peaceful and not judgmental of others. Well here I am, sitting on the edge of the pond, casting my pole, waiting to see if there is anything worth not throwing back into this pond. I guess we shall see. I'm a pretty easy going person and get along with most people. My friends would describe me as honest, compassionate, loyal, smart, and funny. I believe in being active and healthy, however, I am not big into going the gym (not to say that I haven't), but I prefer to be active outdoors like hiking, biking, swimming, evening walks, ect. I've done a little bit of traveling but want to do much more. I love learning about new cultures and exploring new areas, either local or afar. I look I forward to traveling more in the future, so meeting someone who likes travel would be a plus. I keep pretty busy with my family, and work different hours than most, so it makes it hard to meet new people. I don't go to bars much, but once in awhile it's nice to go out with some friends to dance and have a good time. I don't see the bar as a place to meet men, as the kind of man that frequents a bar isn't the kind of man I'm looking for. I'd like to meet someone who is honest, happy, works, can communicate, and has a good heart. I'm not looking to jump into a relationship but it'd be nice to meet someone who can carry on a conversation, go out with once in awhile, and enjoy each others company.
