Woman. 27 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 24-34
Attempting to write a new chapter in my life and have decided to hand the pen over to God. Looking forward to what He has planned! I don’t tend to "click" with most guys, which I suppose makes those few unique individuals that I do connect with all the more special. I would describe myself as restless, analytical, and dorky. However, those closest to me might describe me as devoted, fun-loving, and giving. My passions include spending quality time with my family and friends, working with children (I'm a teacher), and enjoying any activity outdoors. I've pulled a few fish out of the water in my day, and can even bait my own hook. But on the same token, I get my nails done regularly and enjoy getting dolled up. I relish in my femininity, and think its important that my man appreciates that about me as well. Not looking for a companion, as I already have a short, hairy, wrinkly one...my English Bulldog (the main man in my life.) Not looking for my ";-fueled childhood imagination. :-)I am looking for a team mate, a partner, and a love for this lifetime and the next, with whom I can navigate life's adventures. He should be a man of good character and have a vision of what he wants for the future, which would ideally match up with mine. Someone who doesn't take himself too seriously, but is secure in who he is. If he possess these qualities, and can make me laugh, that would be a great start. Anywhere, doing anything, can be a good date with the right company ;-)

Oh boy. These are never fun. Here goes:I'm a bluenoser, born and bred. My parents split when I was 11, and I was raised by my father to be kind, helpful, and independent. My mom and I weren't close as I was growing up, however we have since reconnected and enjoy a fairly strong relationship. I'm an only child, though I have 3 step-After high school, I decided to turn my post- I had never been to NL, and didn't know a soul, but darn it - I was gonna go anyway. I lived in St. John's for 4 years and LOVED it. I'd love to move back someday, if the stars should align. :) After St. I very much enjoyed the city, but I moved there during the recession and life proved to be a struggle. You heard me. I lived in Nunavut for a year and a half, and I honestly feel a little homesick for it every day (weather and all)... I've only been back in NS for a few months, and it admittedly stings a little. ;)As for interests, I'm a nut for music. All day, every day. I listen to a lil' bit of everything (and not a "little bit of everything" like most folks say....I really mean it...you get it....). I love film as well, books (though University admittedly ruined me for reading...I'm trying to get back into it), pop culture, FOOD (I love ethnic foods especially - Thai, Indian, Japanese, etc), history...oh, and genealogy. If you let me, I'll trace your family ***full geek out. Yes, really.I am generally soft-hearted, but I can certainly speak my mind if I feel it's necessary. I love animals...babies...people...stereotypical girly stuff haha. I love to LAUGH, and make others laugh. I'm quirky, accepting, and loving. I believe in respect for all people. I have an interest in politics (though you'll never see me take an active part), I love my country, and I fiercely believe in supporting the issues that you feel strongly for.I am on this site with the goal to find a long lasting and loving relationship. I hope to find someone with similar goals, aspirations, and interests, however I look forward to talking about how different we are at the same time. I will be entirely open and up front by saying that I intend to have children, and would love to have the space for a dog or two or three someday as well. :)So yes, slightly heavy, but up front - no? I'm a goof, I'm loving, I'm funny, I'm smart, I'm adventurous, and you better be prepared for my nutso playlist. ;)If you're still reading, I hope to hear from you...peace out, homeslice! Coffee and an adventure? I'm all for the stereotypical stuff, but feel free to suggest something out of the box (Volunteering with puppies? Hanging out with your mom and her buds? Clay Cafe? Skydiving?). :)

I don't really like talking about myself, but I guess I'm a big dork I like to laugh, if you can't make it fun then you shouldn't do it. Life doesn't always have to be depressing. I have 1 kid that is my world and I am a single mom, my kid comes first. I'm starting over in life at the moment so I'm not where I want to be but I refuse to think I won't get there. If ***is a friend of yours we wont work out. I'm not skinny and, I like me the way I am. If you want a skinny chick move along and don't waste our time. I couldn't really tell you, since I haven't been on a date.... Movies seem impersonal for a first date, but dinner sounds good so we know what the other person likes.
