Some things you should know about me........I am a single mother of 2 teenage girls who I am very involved with. I am a basketball and volleyball mom! You will see me sitting on the bleachers and working the concession stand. I would definitely date someone with children however I have no desire to have anymore of my own and wouldn't want someone to sacrifice that desire to be with me. I am honest, sometimes to a fault so if you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question.I LOVE country music but have been known to rock out to "thrift shop" in the car with my girls. :)My family and friends are very important to me. So at any given time there may be nieces and nephews visiting and I enjoy my girl time with my friends. I think healthy relationships allow time for each other to do thier "own" things they enjoy, things they enjoy together, as well as some alone time. I love my tea and coffee and enjoy going to coffee shops because I love the "relaxing" atmosphere which is a nice break from a chaotic world. I don't want or have a desire to be a bar fly, however I do enjoy a night out. It would be nice to be with someone who enjoys that as well and isn't afraid to cut loose and have fun. But I also enjoy being at home cuddling up with a good movie and just enjoying time with someone special.I love to dance however I need some work on my 2 step. I have found it takes a strong man to lead me otherwise I tend to try to lead. LOLLaughter and a sense of humor are a must!!! Laughter has gotten me through some rough times and if you can't laugh at yourself, then life can be very miserable.I think this site is exhausting and dating often feels like a job interview. Family is very important to me, not just my kids but extended family as well. Big, chaotic get togethers are great! My humor is most of the time cheesy or cheeky, sometimes sarcastic but always there. Humor is a great healer. I don't have one favorite hobby. I like to do a little of this and a little of that…a “Jill of all trades”. Amusement parks, rodeos, museums, hiking, fishing, camping, movies, coffee, festivals, etc. I could go on and on; most any activity can be fun if the company is fun. Sometimes “why not” is all I can think therefore I end up doing things like volunteering to be hypnotized in front of ***people or jumping into a swimming hole just because. Adventure and spontaneity...sign me up!So, part two...what I am looking for? Someone who is true to themselves. Confident (not arrogant), funny (not biting sarcasm), hard-working, honest, family oriented, and open-minded. Someone who has time to actually date and doesn't focus on the negative things in life all the time. Someone who understands that life isn't always a party; someone who understands responsibility...but is still a glass half full kind of person. Addition: I have come to realize there are some things I should have included. I don’t want to sound stuck-up or mean but being honest will save all of us some time. So…I am not interested in someone who plays video games on a regular basis, does not have a viable means of transportation, wears sweats for more than working out, lounging at home, or housework, or swears like a sailor. I do not want to exchange naked pictures or join you and your partner for “a fun night”. A Yankees Game? I think first dates can be just about anything...dinner, coffee, a walk??? The possibilities are endless.
