About Me

Hello...Here are a few things, you might wish to know about me. I read my bible daily, yes I believe in God. I love music. I listen to all varieties. I am listening to .. Jar of hearts by: Christina Perri right now. Ps. I love music. I have a few tattoos. Sometimes I write poetry or should I say try to.****nson. I love to fish,camp, playing pool, throwing darts, Mud bogging, take long walks,swimming, spending time with family and friends,going for long drives to nowhere, discovering new places and new things, cooking, bowling, I love animals, gardening, I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I do have a garden, flowers,veggies and some fruit trees, not big ones, but they are growing. I love avocados, I have a few of them growing. I like to try to grow things just to see if I can. Some other info for you. I do not wake up with perfect hair, my breath is not minty fresh when I wake up, I still eat all the marshmallows in a bowl of lucky charms first, I do love my jogging pants and a tanktop, If I do not have to wear shoes, I do not. Yes I am a flip-flop kind of girl. I do not look so cute, when playing the dance game, on the Wii, with my 8 years old son, so do not watch. Some things I do not like squash, okra. I am not like many and do not try to be anyone else. You will either love me or hate me. I say how I feel.It has come to my attention that I may need to attach a few additional words here.... So that you proceed not to waste your time. I am not looking for every gentleman. Every gentleman will not have my number.I am picky. I am looking for that one that will last for a lifetime. Not just survive a few days. I do not proceed out dating everybody that ask me on a date. After conversing for a while if we seem to hit it off, have a few things in common, some of the same desires, then we can try a date and go from there. Yes, my profile says, "wants to find someone to marry " . That does not mean tomorrow or that I will just wed anyone. I am a single mom, I have been single for a while now and am not frightened to continue that way, until such time I discover the right one or he finds me. A portion of this may not seem sensible or crazy to several on here, and that is fine .We are not all here seeking for the same things.     Hello :-) I like guys with a good sense of humor, who are honest and open. Since I mentioned honesty, I should let you know I'm actually 5'5" and a 1/2..... ;-) but ***inch increments weren't an option so naturally I went for taller. When I'm not at my full time job (managing my awesome team) I do & teach yoga (which helps balance the day job. I also like paddleboarding / kayaking, hiking, or just being outdoors, long walks,.... bike rides....of course shopping.; Mallorca, Spain. I lived in Japan for a year and loved it & Off to Kenya soon.; pretty much anywhere else! I like Happy hours in DC on rooftops or patios with my yoga pals, and of course-..... etc.I'm not going to talk about how I enjoy cooking because then I can't keep up and reply to the barrage of *** undoubtedly will ensue. ;-) But.... Do you read the Times or the Post .... ;-)I don't have enough free time or interest to reply to a "Hello" / "What's up" *** tend to think it may be an indication of what someone is willing to put in or what they are looking for. I am a social butterfly and do better with extroverts than introverts. I like to be busy "go, go, go!" but have dated introverts who can keep up as well. I don't have or watch TV but enjoy movies. "I Heart Huckabees" is a fav,....Work hard play hard is definitely my motto! You make time for the things you love.... and I believe in the importance of giving back / paying it forward.Someone reminded me lately that "hope is not a strategy" ....I really like inspirational quotes. Dinner or coffee....

A guy that is fun, can make me laugh, and has a great personality goes way further with me than how he looks, although of course there should be a mutual physical attraction, I do not "focus" on what he should look like over his character or who is he as a man. I don't care how much money you make or what you drive. I don't need a father for my daughter, and I'm not a money sucking gold digger.. I can take care of myself. I have no respect for women who use men for money like it's some sort of joke. They are needy and co dependent, which is so sexy.
