I'm a nice girl looking for a good guy. It seems so many others have found their "better half" but for some reason, those of us on here are still looking. They say, "Good things come to those who wait". With that said, I think... "THE BEST HAS YET TO COME" because they "Saved the BEST for LAST:)". I am hoping to meet someone that will soon become my best friend... Or my "partner in crime";) I want to feel so comfortable with this person that I am my true self...100% me... No stones left unturned. I'd like them to feel the same way. I'd like to be with someone who is equally excited to see me or hear from me, as I am them. Someone that knows how to turn a frown upside down after a bad day. I'm an outgoing, intelligent, and devoted individual that enjoys the more simple things in life. I'm not looking to be spoiled by anyone but rather to find that certain someone that makes me smile and laugh and is just purely and simply a good person and good company...hopefully, my true companion:) The person I will fall for will be looking forward to many of the same things as me. At the same time, we will introduce each other to the aspects of our own lives that make us unique within our relationship. I adore my family which includes my 8 nieces and 2 nephews- they are a big part of my life (along with my parents and 4 siblings). If you have nieces, nephews, or a child of your own, they should rule your world... You will hopefully think they are the best! I love doing almost anything, whether it's planned or completely spontaneous! I am definitely an extrovert... a people person (a quality I would definitely appreciate in my match)... the type of girl you could take anywhere and walk away from for hours. When you return, however, you will see that I now have more friends than you:) and they may even like me better! I enjoy taking pictures (one of my favorite hobbies) and love the beach, boardwalk.. anything involving water. I enjoy long walks and even longer runs on the boardwalk (if my knees permit) and lifting weights. I'm also interested in getting involved in Yoga. I really enjoy NYC and all it has to offer. I try to get in there as much as possible. Still regret never living there:( I'm really up for anything. I like to get dressed up to go out but enjoy dressing down to stay in. I enjoy a quiet night at home on the couch, watching a movie, eating a home cooked meal (or take out too;) or getting cozy on the couch while sharing a pizza and beers over a ball game. There are definitely times in which I would much rather be curled up on the couch than out on the town (especially on a cold winter night). I liked sword fish, but thought clownfish was likely more apropos, sadly. Maybe I should have picked sunfish, or octopus? hmm possibly bad connotations. I like poetry readings, singing karaoke, batting cages, photography, fishing, kayaking(I'm an amateur), going to museums and plays, and both beer and wine. I read, constantly. I write, not as consistently as I want, but I will finish my novel eventually. I work at a college. I want to travel abroad. I want to learn swing dance. I want to get published. I listen to all kinds of music (except techno). My favorites are usually upbeat and singable, but the one song I could listen to forever is Rhapsody in Blue. My favorite poem is Xanadu. My favorite book is whatever I'm working on (reading or writing) at the time (unless I'm reading one of my cheesy romance novels in which case I may fall back on something that sounds more intellectual). *I'm attracted to high energy, humor and intellect. If you describe yourself as laid back and are, we're probably not a good match. If you describe yourself as laid back, but actually you get excited about stuff, we'll have a better shot. Mini-golf, MIA, MoA amusement park, batting cages, skate park. Skate park is my current favorite notion. I won't do any more coffee dates. They feel like an interview and I'm a perfectionist/idealist. Better to have fun and stir up the adrenaline when deciding if the other person is attractive and interesting.
