I am always working to develop professionally while keeping a balance between being a mother, a friend and time for myself. I have a love/hate relationship yard work, which has meant learning how to string the weed wacker and other yard tool related things. I didn't say I was good at it, I just like to tackle it. I started a little garden this summer and am excited to see how it goes : ) I enjoy getting outside to ride my bike downtown to get food or a drink or go for a jog. However I am not militant about anything in my life so I don't have a strict schedule of exercise I abide by, just when it feels good. I am pretty laid back, I like to go barefoot in the sun, listen to music, don't mind getting dirty and throwing my hair in braids. I can also polish up if need be. I have friends in high places as well as in low places. I have a great family and truly, great kids. My kids will always have first dibs on me and my time, though I do make appropriate space for friends, dating and alone time.I tend to get a lot of messages from young men. Please don't message me if you want kids or are in your 20's. I'm 36 and have all the fine lines to prove it. I even have sun damage (dammit). My oldest has rotated around the sun 16 times and my youngest 8 times. I'm really looking for like-minded, realistic, real-life type of people. You don't have to be educated, but be intellectual. If you wear your hat sideways, ever, please don't message me, there are other ways to prove your "youthfulness" : ) Now, hat on backwards, that's a different story...that I can take and even welcome. I like feeling dirty and part of the earth as well as taking advantage of vacuumes, laundry detergent, and soap. I like a clean home. But if we are playing, lets get dirty! * Disclaimer: I'm health conscious 90% of the time, but the other 10% is not something to brag about.* disclaimer # 2: I get a lot of messages/comments about the piano and guitar in one of my pics. I do not play any ***, they are my sons. I am not musically talented just pro music! A first date should be very laid back just to check the chemistry. With that said, no hard feelings about learning more about ourselves as individuals and about others. Ya win some and lose some and maybe one of these first dates will lead to a second date.     I’m told I have a nice smile, that I look like I’m in my early 20s (I often get carded) but probably the most flattering compliment I get is that I’m a nice, sweet girl with a good heart. I’’I was laid off about ***years ago and after about a year of unemployment, thankfully, I was still in good enough shape to join the military. I have about a year and a half left on my contract and I’m on the fence about getting out because the economy doesn’t seem that promising yet.Why am I still single?
