Most of all, they would say I am deserving of a wonderful man.- I enjoy cooking, wine/beer tasting and experiencing new food and drink.- Sundays are one of my favorite days. Sharing that with someone else makes it all the better. - I love the outdoors: picnics, day-hikes, weekend trips to the mountains, camping and fishing.- I am a hardworking professional who really enjoys my job. That said, you won't catch me working overtime or on the weekends. I truly believe you have to have a good work-life balance.- I enjoy sporting events, concerts, and seasonal events (Oktoberfest, Parade of Lights, Summer concerts at Red Rocks).- I am not a gym-rat; I do try and stay healthy by walking, hiking, eating right and not consuming that "one last beer". Lol!- In a single word, I would describe myself as "devoted". Devoted to myself, to my job, to my friends and family, and most of all, to finding that special someone that I can share all of the things that are important to me.About my date:- He's a gentleman and he's respectable but he can still have a great time and get a little crazy from time to time.- He's funny, loves to laugh and make me laugh.- He's dependable, hardworking and has a good head on his shoulders.- He's a family man who loves his own and would learn to love mine. - He enjoys sports, the outdoors, going out once in awhile, but also loves staying in, making a meal together with a great movie and a bottle of wine.- He wants a long-term relationship and isn't afraid to pursue one. I am looking for a best friend to play with…now get your mind out of that gutter! Not to say I won’t want to be playful later but it’s not my main focus. I mean a best friend to go out and explore the world. I enjoy a lot of different sports, I don’t play as many as I use to but with the right partner we could have lots of fun. Activities I enjoy or would love to restart...golf, bowling, hitting a tennis ball around (would have to relearn "playing" tennis), skiing (I don't like to be cold so we would have to work that out ;), horse-I love shooting baskets, pool, I attempt to play darts, I am sure there are more but we can figure them out later.Activities I enjoy watching...Football- NFL, College sometimes, my man playing pretty much any sport, sometimes basketball and baseballI just finished my bowling season and may bowl during the summer. I bowled a ***this year and want to keep practicing at the very least so I can get my 300. I golf with my family and friends, and boy how the weather has been great for that lately. While I am still working I don’t stay too late, I love my job but you can burn out so I am very aware of the balance needed in life. I make sure I play or relax as much as I work. I love movies and have some specific television shows I like…yes, I am a TV addict! There is good news though…I’d rather go and do things than sit in front of a TV most of the time. Sometimes cuddling up and watching a good movie or show can make a perfect night. I love all kinds of movies, especially horror and action/thriller. I also continually read or listen to books. I am listening to two and reading one now... I’m a hard rock girl too but listen to just about any music. My family, friends, and my dog are very important to me and I love spending time with them. If you asked my friends and family how they would describe me they would say I am giving, kind, smart, fun, passionate, tenacious (slightly stubborn in a good way) and loyal. I love children and am very open to having a future with someone who already has children. I enjoy trying new things but I do have my favorite things I’m passionate about. I am most passionate about helping people and I am able to apply that in my job. I am a special education teacher, teaching the most wonderful and challenging students. My students are often medically impacted by their disability and my National Certification specialty is in the severe/profound area. My Masters is with a focus on Autism. I have been teaching for 15 years and I am blessed for I truly love my job! My faith is important to me, a positive energy I share though my actions. I attend church and it is a part of who I am. So....here is a peak into what I am looking for, what I enjoy, and where my passions run. I am looking forward to going out with you and seeing if we will have that spark. We will have fun. I don't have a perfect first date in mind, if that were the case I wouldn't be here. I love to be active and am often out walking around Capital Lake or golfing somewhere. If the weather doesn't permit then I may bowl or catch a movie. I for our first date we should do something along those lines.
