I am a catch if you prefer an angelfish over a goldfish! You know the ones I'm talking about...the ones looking only for gold! Not here, not me! I'm not looking to be supported but rather complimented! And please no dogfish...I'm tired of feeling like a suckerfish!I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I'm proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect, but I don't need to be. Take me as I am or watch me as I walk away.I am a single mom of two teenage boys. They are my world and my priority and I have them 100% of the time. I am not ashamed of some of the "mistakes" I made when I was younger. I don't see them as mistakes but rather the choices that made me the strong, indepedent, resilient, mother I am today. I put myself through college as a single mom, have a great career and purchased my own house, so I guess I expect a man with the same motivation. I'm looking for a caring, fun-loving, good guy who has his crap together...if you don't have a job or if you live at home with mommy and daddy don't bother wasting your time. I enjoy a variety of different activities from anything outdoors to chilling on the couch drinking a beer while watching a good football game (esp USC! Go Trojans!) I'm the type of girl who isn't afraid of getting down and dirty and then getting cleaned up for a night out on the town. I am not looking for a man to make me happy but rather to be happy with a man.Oh, and if I view your profile and don't send you a message, don't assume I'm shy because if I'm interested I have no problems reaching out first. Its more likely that either I'm not interested or there is something in your profile that made me believe we would not be a good match. I thoroughly enjoy stand-up and sci-fi, also a fan of Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Trek and a daily Democracy Now watcher. When it comes to politics liberal would be an understatement...I'm also not your girl. If I had to pick a favorite type of music it would be acoustic blues. I'm an insatiably curious person and I frequent the library almost as often as the garden. I'm not religious, but I strive to meditate daily even if it's just being mindful in a hectic life.I am looking for someone with integrity, who is intelligent, witty, thoughtful, kind, and likes to read.
