So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics! I say, if we think we might have a connection, let's just meet, have a drink, and maybe see where things go. As Popeye would say, "I y'am what I y'am." I'm passionate about what I care about, empathetic, I try not to take myself or the world too seriously and I can easily laugh and myself and the ridiculous that is life sometimes, and I'm looking for someone who can as well. Overall, I'm looking for a guy who is witty, fun, and who could never be described as generic. I love intelligence without pretentiousnes and kindness with a sense of humor. Though it doesn't need to happen tomorrow, ultimately I am looking for a relationship and I'm looking for someone who wants the same. On a lighter note... I'm a simple girl that loves to laugh and be around others. I really do enjoy the little things in life like, jet skiing, building a snowman, catching a tigers game, or just hanging out around a bon fire with friends and family. Believe it or not guys I even love to fish. I'm a teacher and I absolutely love my job. Aside from teaching I also coach basketball and softball, both of which I played from the age of 7 though my first 2 years of college. I'm playing softball again this summer for the first time in 3 years and I can't wait. I ran my first 5K last year and I'm working on a couple more this summer. I'm so happy that the weather is starting to brighten up and would love to find someone to get outside and do things with. A game of putt putt, an ice cream and walk by the river, or just meeting up for dinner and a drink.
