Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.I have a very dynamic and active life of adventures, big and small. Currently, I balance my free time between art and activity. Right now I am exploring pottery and painting, though I would love to try my hand at stained glass someday. On the active side, I hit the gym a few times a week for workout and swim, and love going biking with my daughter, or camping, canoeing, and kayaking.I am pretty much always reading a book or two, and I love movies. I also find quiet comfort in my urban garden, and this year I am growing lots of vegetables and herbs. I love to cook, and fresh ingredients are treasures! A love of healthy, great tasting foods is a must.University and academic pursuits are close to my heart, and I am looking forward to completing my Master's degree.I have a love of animals, especially horses, and some day imagine living in a communal, sustainable, rural environment. Family, friends, and community are important to me, and I have been happiest when my door is open, neighborhood kids are wandering in and out, and good friends are over for dinners, fires, and singing. Music is also a big part of my life, and I have a broad appreciation, from Canadian folk and Indie, to electronica, latin, and classical. 3 CBCSome unique parts of me.... I have a very borad interest base and skillset. There isn't much I can't do, I have always been very independent. One goal... Burning Man!I spend a great deal of time with my daughter, out in the world living, we are a package deal. Truly she is a beautiful and precious tiny human, and I love her deeply. Things that attract me include a strong sense of humour, an active intellect, someone who is strong within, but not set in their ways. I appreciate the notion of being a person who grows, learns, and is open to changing their mind and behaviour in response to new knowledge, contexts, and needs. You must love kids and be good with kids to be part of my world, or at least be willing to learn. Love of travel, adventure, and an active life are equally important. Also, a willingness to share a rich inner life with someone, as well as out-in-the-world activities.If you think you are a fit, and you like what you've heard, I would love to hear from you.     I just want to find someone who will not judge me by my looks and will take the time to get to know me. I have a great personality. I am very easy going about dates. I am the type that is usually up for almost anything. I would enjoy going out to dinner and a movie, or bowling, or playing pool, or just staying in and having dinner and talking and maybe watching a movie. I am happy with just about anything.
