About Me

I am the type of girl that will blast Toby Keith in my car, followed by a round of old school Backstreet Boys. I have the type of personality that most people find a little awkward, mostly because I say what I think, and half the time I'm thinking up crazy silly things. I like to laugh, but mostly I like to make people laugh, I like to make them smile, and if I have to say something completely ridiculous to do so, then so be it. There are so many different things to know about me. I am currently in college (for the second time) pursuing a dream of working in the health care field. I already have a Bachelor's in psychology, and am hoping that it will back up my current goal of becoming a nurse. I work in customer service at the moment, to support myself while I am in school. My biggest goal in life though is to have a career, not just a job, somewhere I can feel fulfilled and satisfied at the end of the day in having made a difference in some way shape or form no matter how big or small.I am a loyal to the core. The most important people in my life are my family. We have been through many bumpy roads together and we are very much apart of each others lives. I come from a place where Aunts & Uncles are like Moms & Dads and cousins are like siblings, and we spend a great deal of time together. If I find someone on here that I enjoy spending time with I'm going to want them to spend time with my family, enjoying the same things we do. Going to movies, getting together, sitting around talking, playing Bags, enjoying each others company. My family is everything. My friends are my strength and my support in life, but most of them live scattered throughout the United States, very few are here. So I enjoy travelling. I read, what some might consider too much. But I enjoy writing to the point where I have spent time trying to get published, and will continue to do so throughout my life. Writing will always be a huge chunk of what I am. Creating a world that is all my own, with people that I have pulled together from remnants and memories of those in my life, and all together unique in the world.What I really want though, in the long run, is to belong in the world with someone that I can call my own. Someone I fit with, that understands me for all my weird quirks, and enjoys me for them. Someone that I can laugh with, cry with, and just enjoy this roller coaster we call life with.

I don't find my identity in what other people think of me, I am pretty independent, low maintenance, I know how to keep myself busy and entertained, I have an incredible family and group of friends that I love to spend time with and am very close to, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and am a hard worker. I'm also a hard traveler, ha ha. It was one of the best and most wonderful experiences of my whole life. I have visited over 10 different countries and still love to travel when I can. I love new and exciting places and am very spontaneous when it comes to weekend trips... just haven't gotten around to it... YET.Good grammar is important to me. It's a HUGE pet peeve of mine if you don't know the difference between "to and too," "you're and your" and "their, they're and there" Please, just be smart. I do have some tattoos so, I'm going to need you to be ok with that. They can all also be hidden. So, if your mother will have an issue with this, just let me know. I'll be sure to wear my tube-top and booty shorts the day that I meet her. KIDDING. They are all very tasteful and feminine. I've been told that some of them are the most beautiful work people have ever seen. I'll not argue with that. I love Summer, I love being in and around water at all times if it's warm outside. Boating, tubing, pool, lake etc. I love Fall, bonfires, hiking, camping, making dinner at home with my roomies or a night out on the town dressed to the 9's. I love patios!! Sitting outside to eat or have coffee is one of my favorite things. I'm pretty easy to please :) I love being around people, making them laugh and having some great conversation/hangout time.You should probably message me if you love Jesus and are hilarious :) If you're caring and loyal, genuine and sweet, but can also be a smart ass. I want someone that is a good communicator, an honest guy and someone who will not be intimidated by a girl who knows what she wants and is secure in who she is. A man's man! I love it when guys can do the "guy stuff" and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
