I am a full-time Accounting/Auditing major at UAB. I enjoy the professional realm and have high career ambitions. I suppose I am guilty of owning a suit or two. I take my education very seriously and it is the priority right now; I don't allow anything to get in the way of my GPA. However, I am also very at home in the artistic world. I enjoy off-beat fashion, local coffee shops, street music, drawing in the park, yarn bombing and morning yoga outside. My kid is an amazing person and we have many grand adventures together, but I don't look at myself as a "single mom". She's just a person whom I am privileged to spend time exposing to the cultures and experiences of life. I hope one day she will be successful in her ventures and remember that at the heart of it, who we are is simply defined by the compilation of thousands of moments and a single decision can alter it all.As far as things I enjoy doing, really, I just like to have fun! It's that simple! That can mean pretty much anything: reading, studying, people watching, downtown hide & go seek, bouldering, local festivals and art shows, exploring new places, taking crazy photographs, checking out local breweries, chilling at the house with friends, hanging out at the city park, sitting on the kitchen floor and talking about life. There is really only one rule: Misdemeanors Only! As long as we avoid any felony charges, I'm probably in.I suppose that I am looking for someone to "get to know". If a relationship happens, that's skippy, but it's not necessary. I'm very content with my life and don't need a relationship to finish off my existence. We are each our own person and must stand on our own two (or one.. or four) feet. Relationships aren't about depending on one another to fulfill a void. They are about sharing life experiences with another soul whom you enjoy being around just for the sake of them being around. Honestly, I'm a laid back, happy person. I know what's important in life and it takes a lot to knock me out of whack. I'm independent, self sufficient, sometimes a little crazy, sometimes a little chill, but overall I just like to enjoy life. Feel free to enjoy it alongside me. Oh, and if you triple dog dare me... odds are, I'm going to do it!!! Surprise me! ...but seriously, can we stop for coffee on the way?

Winter I am a downhill skier, Looking for someone to teach me to X-Country ski this season!I love to camp; nothing like a fresh water lake in the ON to canoe, swim, and fish. In the past few years I have become a more experienced hiker. Going on trips from ***days! Yes there are some fun stories there. Love the outdoors and the adventure of a good challenging hike. I feel just as sexy in my hiking boots as I do in red heels!Travelling is where most of my money goes these days. Love to try new places and meet new people, eat new food and have my mind blown by history and culture! Hope you have a passport.I like to keep a healthy lifestyle. healthy eating most days and am always working on fun food recipes. I like to go to the gym when I can or out for a run after work. I love to cycle, casual city trails or long distance on my road bike. Have gone on 2 long distance camping/cycling trips! Am hoping to make a new friend on here who also loves to laugh, enjoy some of the things I do as well as teach me a thing or two. A date, for me does not always have to be a big event, simple coffee at Silver bean on the water sounds like a great time. First date maybe combine coffee with a walk along the path, leading to drinks on a patio! For the first date I try to avoid dinner... so as to avoid the "interview" that can happen.
