I am a news reporter so I have been long dedicated to my field and given up a lot to get where I am today. I need to find someone who isn't intimidated by what I do and has high self esteem and pride in what they do as well. There really isn't anything I don't enjoy. As far as unique...what people don't really know is while I always seem so "put together" for work...my socks never ever match. We're talking like one blue one red...I just feel my time is better spent elsewhere...now different shoes would be silly...but if it was a snow storm and they somewhat matched and I was only going for coffee..haha yeh prob wouldn't sweat it. I am really easy going and don't sweat the small stuff and aren't really concerned about how I look to others..unless when I have to be haha I think first dates are better when they are actually doing things you can get to know the person...where your actually doing something fun then afterwards go eat or for drinks somewhere. It is nice if the guy tried to put effort into doing something cool and interesting. But the good thing is I am never awkward...if there is an awkward silence something is really wrong because people say I make things really comfortable and I'm easy to get along with.

Hi! Oh the pressure is on with this initial description huh? I want so badly to think of just the right words to convince you I'm a great catch (I hope!) but from what I've learned you just can't know someone's true nature until you talk or meet with them in person. I guess I wont worry about it and just let God do His thing. OK so about me. The best words to describe me are blond, blunt, and bold. I've got to admit that I'm not an overly exciting person but I do like to get out and try new things. I'm not a genius at any one thing but not bad at most things I try. When work, baby, and other daily responsibilities are accomplished, I like going to the gym, riding my bike with dog along side me, walking with the stroller, reading, and watching my favorite TV shows. I love going to the movies and stuffing my face with popcorn. I enjoy getting involved with small groups at church. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter once a week but now find it hard to do with the little one. Overall I'm up for any new adventure but also enjoy relaxing at home in the evenings with a good book or TV show. I tend to be some what of an introvert but still love to get out and make new friends. I started a very successful meetup.com group once and started/led a volunteer committee at the shelter for a couple years. I just moved again so not doing too much right now. I've been successfully employed since I graduated college but my real desire is to have more children and be a stay at home mom. Maybe work part time when they're old enough to be in school. Or homeschooling maybe?Anyway I could go on and on but you get the idea! Something fun that decreases the social awkwardness of meeting someone for the first time. Lets go bowling, shoot some pool, or go miniature golfing! Or even realgolfing if you'll teach me how!
