I do have a soft spot for scientists, musicians, shaggy hair & tattoos, I'll admit : ) . dinner, a great coffee shop (I love trying new kinds of tea), movie, home cooked meal, a great talk or watching the sunset is always a great way to start. Maybe a short day trip to a beach, island, mountain, desert... LA has a lot of possibilities!
