First date should be in a public setting for sure. I would be most comfortable and at ease this way. Handshake, talking, something fun, coffee/food....a romantic atmosphere would be nice too. I enjoy a gentlemen. Opening a door for me isn't about saving me from pulling a heavy germ infested door...it is about respect and general regard for me as a woman.
