I've been out of the dating scene a long time. just looking to see if anyone captures my interest. I read, write and cook. Here are some of my dislikes: I don't respond to many messages simply due to not being on here long enough right now. I also won't respond to less than intelligent conversations such as "Sup?" "Phone sex?" "So..." I'm not comfortable dating men more than ***years older than myself. I don't date pot heads, heavy drinkers or smokers. I don't see the appeal of getting wasted and complaining all the next day that it hurts.I can hang out and have a few drinks on occasion though. I won't date a man without a good job. I don't need a man to support me I work hard all on my own, but I am NOT going to support you either. I have standards and am not willing to lower them. This makes me sound high maintenance but I really am laid back! I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, football, hunting, movie nights, love the gym, cooking, baking, and am a HUGE nerd. To save you the question, "What makes you a nerd?" I love Star Wars( Han DIDN'T shoot first. He's the only one to shoot at all!), Star Trek( Yes, it's ok to love both), video games (Halo 4 kicked serious butt), and comic ( I collect Walking Dead when I have time to go). For those of you who have no idea what any of the above references are then we probably won't get along. I constantly throw pop culture references and movie quotes around. :) I am fiercely loyal, independent, sarcastic, despise drama, car nut, I love the idea of the beach, but the Irish in me says, "No." I'm proud of many heritages. I try to live life to the fullest and work my butt off to give a good life to my kids. I have 3. To any who made it this far and still want to chat hit me up

. Not real good at these things, but I guess I'll give it a try. I'm just your basic laid back down to earth kinda girl. I love to laugh and have a good time with my family and friends, but there's something missing in my life, and that's someone special, someone that I can have a normal conversation with, someone that likes me for me! A little bit about myself, I'm currently seeking employment. It's hard these days, but I'm not going to let that get me down. My family has been hit hard this year, so I think the Lord knew that I was going to be needed else where. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for them! As far as my interrests.. I like anything outdoors. Fishing, boating, four-. to bowling, movies, local concerts, shooting pool, or having a movie night at the house with my family and friends. I've been loosing weight since Jan and have changed my life for the better. I've lost 95lbs so far and I'm still loosing. I don't want to be super skinny, just healthy! I'm not really in the club scene anymore, been there done that kind of thing. Not that I wouldn't step foot in one again! My music taste, well I guess I pretty much like everything, especially.. get ready for it.. country! Yep, I said, not too many guys are into that, but I kinda like it. Movies, again, pretty much the same. Not really into the scary movie, but that doesn't stop me from going to the movies and watching them, BUT, you will not see me watching one by myself. lol Well, I hope that gives you a little bit about myself, what I like, and what I like in that special someone.
