About Me

Well, for starters I am a mother. He's my life. I have a bachelors degree from UL and work as an accountant for a local logistics company. I have hopes of getting my CPA license within the next two years. I take care of my grandfather. He's 90 years old and has the drive of a 25 yr old. I am looking for a man. Simply put I want someone who is strong and independent. I have a son, I don't want to have to take care of a grown man. With that being said, I want to be a wife someday with a large family. I believe in sharing responsibilities. Which does not mean I will be the one stuck in the house cooking cleaning while you are outside taking care of the yard work. What that means is I can jump on the mower and take out the trash and you can cook and clean and on opposite days I cook and clean and you mow and take out the trash. Basically I don't believe in 100% traditional gender roles. ***people not ***. I enjoy hanging out with friends and recently have been spending more time with family and enjoy it. I am a country girl at heart. I can dress nicely and have a meal at a classy restaurant or can be outside next to a bonfire with rubber boots and a hoodie. I love to travel. It is my dream that my grandchildren will describe me as we'll-traveled amongst other things. I am not a big city girl nor am I a big beach goer. i prefer mountains outdoors. The world is beautiful! I can say much more but that wouldn't leave anything for conversations

    Oh, where to begin...?I'm assuming I'm with the majority of people on these sites-I hate writing these. I feel like I'm writing a resume, which I guess it is-in a weird sort of way. I hope the fact that I can type 50 wpm can overshadow the fact that I have a hard time finishing my lunch in 30 minutes because I'm a slow eater. =)I grew up in a small, rural town which I am happy to have moved away from, but I love going back to visit my parents and hoard vegetables from their garden.I love to eat- trying new restaurants, cooking, grilling out, and especially baking. If I was allergic to sugar, my life would be a long, painful existence. I will try almost anything, twice if I like it. I love to travel, see and experience new things. My bucket list is long and weird.Currently, I am pursuing a BA in Spanish/Human Development. I have high hopes for myself in receiving a degree in another language; it's terrifying and exciting all at once. I am a little shy/ quiet at first, and a few of my wonderful, charming friends can vouch that I might be a slight bit awkward. (not like a 15 yr old prom date, but maybe close..... kidding). Other than that, I am quick to warm up and love to talk, once I get to know someone. I've been told I have quick wit and I love to give sh*t if you can give it back just as easily; bantering is healthy!So ask away..... if you actually got this far w/o rolling your eyes or dying of boredom. Tattoos and ice cream sundaes? Just kidding..... you should probably decide, because I'm actually not that decisive.
