I think these about me sections are stupid, and no one really reads them anyway. Don't be offended if you send me a message and I don't respond, but, if I do respond, maybe you'll be lucky enough to see how awesome I am ;)

Well, let's see... I'm definitely a laid-back, chill type of girl; if you're looking for someone who takes hours to get ready...that's definitely not me! Usually on weekdays, after work and working out, I'm pretty tired, so I don't do a whole lot. But on the weekends I try to stay pretty active. I'm not much of a bar person anymore - I'd rather spend my money traveling, going to shows, charity functions, and nice dinners. Oh, and I REALLY love hockey!! Maybe I'm becoming a little boring - but I like to think I'm just growing up :). I'm looking for my best friend - ok, probably really cliche, but true! I want someone that is on my same level intellectually, that is just as happy watching a movie at home as he is out somewhere. Someone that has goals, is driven, and has high expectations for himself. Travel is very important to me, so I need a man that also shares this passion. I also need someone who loves dogs, because I have the sweetest puppy there is!

I would love to know why these things are so hard to fill out? Who am I? Is it really that hard? I'm simple yet complex. I'm independent but would love to find someone that I can lean on for support and encouragement when I need it. I love to laugh. I love to have fun. I'm a fairly busy person - I work full time and go to grad school full time but with the right person I think it could all work just fine. Currently I'm working as a Case Manager working with adults suffering with mental health diagnosis'. I'm also in Graduate School to get my Masters in Social Work. I do have cats - they were here first so whoever I do date, needs to be okay with that. I'm not that into winter sports but loving watching hockey and football with a beer in hand. It really depends on my mood - I like pop, jazz, country, rock. TV - CSI, Bones, House, How I met your mother, weeds. Movies - a little bit of everything minus the westerns. When I graduate with my Master's in social work I want to either do therapy or work in a medical hospital doing case management. I don't think it's about the place as much as it's about the conversation and if there's any type of connection. Going to dinner or lunch or coffee or even bowling (yeah I've had one of those too***it's all about getting to know someone, meeting face to face...is there passion? is there that buzz? Do you have anything in common? It's all about communication and laying that foundation of trust...
