As much as I enjoy alone time I enjoy the company of others just as much. I enjoy going out and staying in, but am not a big fan of winter so tend to stay inside a lot. I love what I do for work, its fun and different everyday. Pretty big into family, I enjoy hanging with mine weekly. I have a nephew that I adore but never planned to have any of my own children. But have clearly never met the right person either. And i absolutely love animals, well most.

I am a very unique and ambitious person. There's so many things I love and enjoy doing that I sometimes don't know which to choose. I am currently pursuing my master's degree, I work at a university coordinating graduate and international admissions, but I am also an artist and interior decorator (if I had more time and resources to do so). I also spent over 20 years in dance (hip hop, ballet, jazz, etc) which I went to college for. I would like to do more with that either at the theater in town or on the campus I work at or attend more workshops and conventions. I love being outside, doing outdoor activities, and traveling and seeing new things. I do love hiking and camping and have done REAL camping, out in the middle of nowhere where the only "running water" was a spring coming down the mountain. I listen to all kinds of music from pop to hip hop to rock to country, but I prefer modern and alternative rock and I enjoy going to concerts. I also like to sing (playing piano and singing or karaoke) and don't mind sitting at home and relaxing. I would love to find someone who sees my worth and who will want to get married and have a family; someone who will actually treat me good and who can show compassion and love and accept me for who I am, is compatible with me, respectful, HONEST, and a gentleman. The last couple years have been rough on me through an emotionally abusive relationship and not so great experiences since so I've lost a little faith in men and honest relationships and need someone who can PROVE to me that I can love again. I don't believe in words, I need to be shown that you mean what you say. So I'm looking for a guy who can be patient, kind and understanding. My end goal is to find something serious and forever, but I need baby steps to get there, build trust and take the time necessary to build something solid. I'm okay with dating and getting to know people to find my forever. Someone I find also needs to accept my daughter as she is a BIG part of my life and she comes first.

I work in the film and tv industry, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Essentially I just organize things but it's good depending on who you're working with. It's primarily contract based so I'll switch jobs often or like the time being be sans job which is nice every now and again. I've never lead this unemployed life before though so I'm still figuring out exactly what to do with my time. I've always had a little resentment to those lucky young people out at a cafe at 1pm and now I'm amongst their ranks, BEST. Also if you feel like meeting up at a cafe at 1pm on a workday I'm in. I've found myself doing a lot of crafting as a result which is a lot of fun at the very least and it's been a big hit for a few birthday gifts. That's right, I make things from nothing, I'm pretty much magic. I've always only ever been in relationships with people I've met in real life so this is my first real sware into trying to date via online dating. It's been interesting. Yea. Interesting. I really love camping though it's been way too long since I've been portaging. I'm finally really learning more about food and how to cook and really enjoying it. Every once in a while i'll watch a vegetarian propaganda film and almost switch back (I was a vege for 5 years). But I haven't gone all the way back....yet. Basically I'd rather talk to you in real life then on the computer. I don't want to have a long engaging e-mail connection I want to talk to a real person. So if we've written a few messages back and forth how about we just meat up ***? cool. I think it's nice to start on no one's home turf. Pick a spot at random in-between each others houses and commit to nowhere to go for better or worse (though that sounds awkward for a first date when I put it that way!). I think the best way to get get to know each other is to discover something together besides each other whether it be walking down a street you've never seen or trying a food you've never had, ect. That way you get to see how you react to new situations together.Movies are the worst for first dates so not that. Coffee/Tea/Bar are always win for a first meeting in my books.
