I'm close to my family, they're very important to me and LA will always be called Home. I love to travel, I love exploring new places, or seeing new things. I'm down for a night at home or a good time out with friends--diversity in life keeps things spicy! I was born for the water, I love the outdoors and am usually up for an adventure or at very least a drive to get away! Well I don't want to give away the farm, so message me to get to know more. something unique and fun

Woman. 29 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 26-36
Aspiring writer who loves to draw inspiration from nature. Have traveled and love to see new places and learn new things. Interested in many forms of art; love books and movies. Can feel as comfortable at a baseball stadium as at the theater. Enjoy being creative and spontaneous and goofy and just generally having a good time, even if that means staying home and watching a movie. And I just want to add that what I'm really looking for is to be someone's girlfriend, not just their Saturday night, please don't waste my time or yours if you're looking for something intimate without commitment.

Right now I am a full-time graduate student finishing up my last semester of school. It's a very exciting time in my life! I am also making time to have fun and learn some new skills and hobbies and meet new people in order to balance out the intensity of thesis writing. Due to my graduate courses, I have a pretty odd skill set. Skeletal analysis (human and faunal) and mineral identification is not usually a top consideration for most folks. :) I'm also decent at learning new *** languages, DJing, teaching, and am somewhat artistically inclined.Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and foodMy very first job in high school was working in an independent book store. The employees were allowed to "gently borrow" books as often as they wanted. The pay there wasn't great, but it was such a good trade off!. I like reading both fiction and non-fiction. Fiction genres: Mystery, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror (basically escape reading!). Non-fiction: History, Archaeology, Botany, Comparative Religion. As far as movies go, I also worked part-time in an independent video rental shop during my undergrad years. The employee price for renting movies was 50 cents. We were always recommending titles to the customers and each other. I tend to like film noir, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, comedy, horror, thrillers, and the occasional documentary. A couple of favorite films of mine: The Taste of Tea, L.A.Favorite show of all time: MST3K. I also love the X-Files...it makes me nostaglic for my childhood since my dad and I watched the show religiously together.....Hmmm...food preferences...I am definitely an omnivore (sorry animals, you are too delicious). I also enjoy baking for others. Even though I am an adventurous eater, I miss my grandmother's country cooking the most. I would love to learn more about this city from the people who love it
