(I once had to stay after school one day to make up a test and finished early. So I wandered into the video games club to kill time before my mom picked me up.)I don't have a checklist for the type of guy I'm looking for but I do like a guy who smiles for pictures, looks good in a hat, could care less about politics and is 5'10"+. Though, not mandatory. First date?A first date, to me, isn't measured by how much a guy spends on a girl. I don't care if I get a $50 steak, if I didn't have a good time, that's all that matters! I'd love to do something casual and during the day like lunch. I'm an active and fun-loving person so something out of the box like mini-golf or roller skating or walking around a lake/pond would be fun! I don't drink coffee so "meeting for coffee" would consist of me getting a water and maybe a banana. Seeing a movie seems a bit silly because while the movie might be great, how can you really get to know someone when you're not talking? Same goes for a comedy show. A few drinks can be fun too as long as it's not a sit-down fancy place where all they serve is wine.And, of course, I would never say no to a pair of Bruins tickets. :)(However, the biggest nay on my list is that I do not want to go to your place to watch a movie and cuddle as a first date. Sorry.)

I love to dabble in the arts (photography, watercolor & acrylic painting, scrap-booking & other crafts), but I enjoy being active (working out, swimming, ice skating, skiing, hiking, etc.) just as much. I am perfectly content to go out dancing, go to the theater, bowling or whatever, but I love those quiet nights playing board games or reading, too. I'll try just about anything once. I love to laugh. When it comes to music, I will listen to just about anything-- although I prefer country, alternative, classic rock or anything you'd hear in a coffee shop.ABOUT YOU: I'm looking for someone genuine, who has a good head on his shoulders, a clear idea of who he is, or at least who he's trying to become. Family and friends should be important. You believe in God, practice your faith, or will be respectful of me practicing mine. If you keep me laughing, share some of my interests, and are willing to try new things-- I think it'd be great to get to know you. I think a first date should be all about getting to know the other person. There's this really cozy coffee shop not too far from where I live that I love to hang out in because it's the perfect place to just relax and chat. If the conversation's going well and the chemistry is good-- perhaps grabbing a bite to eat and then doing a fun activity (mini golf, bowling, etc.) would be in order.
