About Me

Confession: I’m getting a little tired of being a single girl in what seems to be a couple’s world. While I can usually manage to keep myself busy, I think some things would just be more fun as a team. I find these this part a little tedious, but I suppose it's important, so here we go....A bit about me: I do speak sarcasm and appreciate witty conversation. I like trying new things, (so anything you can teach me is a bonus), and love travelling and have not come nearly close enough to seeing as much of the world as I would like to, and would love a companion to explore with me. I am ambitious, passionate, affectionate, sincere and care deeply for those close to me. I currently hold the coveted Best Auntie in the world award. I believe laughing is one of life’s best medicines, and I'm told I can be pretty funny, and I know how to have fun. However, I also know life can’’s character. I'm very much a "real" person I'm also told. I'm down to earth and wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm super honest (to a fault sometimes). I can be a lion or a kitten I suppose. All depends on the other person, and situation. I am one of those women that will keep you on your toes when needed :) What am I looking for? I could write a novel about desirable qualities, but I'll spare you because I have learned by now that in the end it's all just about the right chemistry. I won't settle until I find that. The basics: Something genuine. The real deal. Definitely no games. We're adults here. Someone to share my life with - good and bad, and have some fun dammit lol. Yeah, I want the whole "best friend" thing. Someone that makes me smile in the morning (which is not always an easy task without coffee haha) and makes my day brighter. That old "butterflies in the stomach" feeling would be awesome. Of course I know any of this doesn't happen overnight, but if you're curious to know more, say hello (or something more creative if you are so inclined! haha) and we'll go from there :) Ps- all my pics are legit, and I have never attempted to make a "duck face" nor will I.     I love meeting new people, cooking/ baking, working out (pilates, yoga), anything equestrian, sporting events (my favorite team is the cubs ~;;, was raised in church, and know how to actually cook "from scratch"...surprise, surprise)) taking risks ~ i would love to go skydiving (although, i know i will be terrified)... my motto is you only live once.. . I can't think of anywhere I would rather be than on the beach and hope to retire waking up to the sound of the ocean. I enjoy getting dressed up and going out, but also love just lounging at home in sweats, ordering in or making dinner, and having "movie marathons"... I'm thankful and blessed that I enjoy what I do.. My career is extremely important to me, but am coming to realize there needs to be a "balance".. at the end of the day ~ life is all about being a good person and investing your time and energy into the people you love and the things that make you truly happy..

So my Hobbies are to try new things, but my favorite are: going to the gym although landing a gym buddy would be very cool; CHURCH!--my church is amazing (Grace Bible non-denominational); simply hanging out/talking to friends; visiting my parents and weekend traveling when my checkbook can afford it; taking photos;; watching I Love Lucy and other Lucille Ball tv shows; going to the movies; bowling; skating; fishing, beach!... LOL--I certainly enjoy being fresh&clean; my date would need to, too haha.Goals: to stay in the Navy long enough to have my Paramedic school paid for, that way I can use the GI Bill for something else; to have my parents move back to VB--I'm a VB Native who moved away in highschool and I joined to get back home.What makes me unique: I have a strong sense of intuition. I know when something's wrong or people are sad/in need long before they ask. I'm always thoughful and trying to do cutsie things for family & friends! And I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind :)Music: I listen to mainly FM99 & 96X type of stuff and country! I used to like him but that jerk can leave my country or crawl in a hole after trampling across my flag!!!! Someone who wouldnt forget repeatedly would be a welcomed change.

    First and foremost, I have to warn you that I come from a long line of ball busters so having a good sense of humor and not taking yourself too seriously is a must! I’m very easy going and can have a good time in any situation. I love going to the bar to watch a game and have a couple of beers, as much as I love getting dressed up for a nice dinner. I was fortunate to have a completely normal childhood, raised by parents who are still in love after ***years. I'd be lucky to find someone that makes me half as happy as my parents are. I come from a close, Italian family and hope to find someone who fits in well with them. I enjoy cooking and can hold my own in a kitchen, which is good being that my family would probably disown me otherwise! I kickbox on a regular basis and eat healthy. I have a great job that I like (most days!) because it challenges me everyday, but I dont let it consume my life. I’ I’m always up for trying something new, whether it be some crazy exotic food on the menu or jumping out of a plane (okay maybe not always that extreme, but I did go skydiving and it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done!).
