I believe life is an incredible experience, and I try to live it as such, taking advantage of opportunities to enjoy it, make a difference, experience new cultures, places, and activities, and learn. I studied science in undergrad (began in physics, switched to environmental sciences), and have switched to early childhood (preschool) special education and brain injuries for grad school. I will always love science and math. Now I'm finishing my masters, doing therapy for kids with autism, and student teaching.I don't usually wake up super early naturally, but as long as I have something to do, I love being up- a good morning hike or run is fantastic! Coffee and breakfast after getting a workout in and enjoying the outdoors is the best! I would love to find someone I can run, walk, and hike with. I like to stay active, and tend to cycle through different things for a few months at a time, usually running, dancing (zumba or ballet), yoga, lifting, hiking, walking, and occasional other random things like swimming, kayaking, and indoor climbing. I prefer playing sports to watching them.I am attracted to people who are active and driven, but not so much so that they can't relax and go with the flow. Intelligence and intellectual curiosity are important to me.I am blessed to have a wonderful group of friends in and out of the area. They mean the world to me, and I would do just about anything for them.I love to dance, but am not that good at it. What this mostly means is I will want you to dance with me at weddings!

Hi, I'm Jen :)I live in a really small town in md. It's so small that we don't have a stoplight or a grocery store. Not kidding. It is however, a great place for horse farms, and I live on a pretty cool one. I am the barn manager of said horse farm, amd i teach riding lessons, so I don't have typical hours, which makes it hard to meet people. That being said, I really love my job and the kids that I teach. It's also really hard living in such a small town and being kinda far away from everything and everyone. I am a huge music fan, and will listen to pretty much every type of music. I think my iTunes has almost every genre of music on it. I like to sing, and even tried out for American Idol once. It was a cool experience, but I think I'd rather try out for The Voice. For now, I just do karaoke. :)I also really like to cook, experimenting with new recipes is fun. I love the beach and everything associated with it, I miss living at the beach a lot. Summer is my favorite time of the year, followed by spring and then fall. I would like fall a lot more if winter didn't come directly after it. I hate the cold. I need to get back to running and going to the gym. I broke my ankle in the spring and it took a long time healing. Now I need to get motivated again. I could keep going, but why don't you just message me if you want to know more? I like to be spontaneous. Lets go crazy. Or we could go to the zoo.
