I grew up in Calgary, I love this city. My family is amazing and my friends are wicked cool. I'm not a huge fan of winter so right now I spend most of my time at yoga. When I'm not at yoga, you can find me at home reading a good book, or out hanging with cool peeps and tossing back a few beers. Summer is where it's at - camping, quading, boating, rafting, wakeboarding, patio drinking - it's what I live for. Oh, and stampede is fun too. And yes, I do camp out in the bush. Hard to believe, I know. I do like to get dolled up from time to time but I'm not afraid to get dirty. I love music. Music is great. Concerts are awesome. I've been to 6 concerts in the past 3 months and still have a few more ahead of me this year. I listen to everything, my ipod is pretty random. I am a country girl though - you don't have to be. I wont force country music on you. I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I do you can find me watching Workaholics, Girls, Breaking Bad and of course my summer addiction - Big Brother.     I find it really hard to capture myself in a snippet of text. I think it would say way more if I told you I'm that mystery colour in the crayon box.I draw cartoons and real life sketches. Most recently I've drawn portraits of friends from photographs.I enjoy running, outside. It makes me feel like a hamster when I run on a treadmill. I think working out is great but the gym junkie thing has yet to grab hold of me. I'm trying to get into more strength training but there's something about that runner's high and being in the sun that the gym can't beat. I have a pomeranian that more resembles a creature plucked from a tree in the enchanted forest. I appreciate and listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but electronic music is my favorite to dance to. I love to travel. I have backpacked Central America, the Philippines and Australia...the longest I've traveled is one year and I hope to travel long term again, it really tests one's limits and sanity in a way. If you are familiar with the travel website couchsurfing.org I'm sure we will have a lot to talk about =)I'm a flexitarian... I eat seafood but nothing furry or that resembles a favorite character in the children's books I used to read. I'm accepting and understanding of people who eat meat, and I appreciate that others respect my choice not to. My current goal is to become a speech pathologist and work with kids with communication disorders. I am in the process of completing some prerequisites to enter grad school (in two years) but I just completed by Honours BA in Anthropology. Although an Anthropology degree isn't the most practical of degrees it opened my mind to other worldviews and the unfamiliarity of my own strange culture. I believe life and people are riddled with contradictions and once I accepted this, everything made a lot more sense. I'm very genuine and I think it's the most important quality I seek in a friend or love. I think being honest with yourself and others and seeing what is now, not what could be, is really all you truly have. A dog walk or coffee is okay with me. I really appreciate a sense of humour. If you're funny we will get along just fine =)

    If you are messaging me just to meet up and have sex or what not- I'm not interested.... Being used for sexual purposes never ends well. Im the type of girl you see on the train who starts busting a move, catches herself doing it...then smiles and laughs to herself... No, im not crazy lol. I love music and dancing, i dance every day, everywhere... This includes work, bus stop...my kitchen the places are really unlimited. I'm cute, bubbly... I get really excited over things, so it doesn't take much to please me. I'm a bit of a dork***for example: I am really good at imitating sport cars... Especially the ones that sound like they are sneezing after accelerating. I love anything thats cute, fat, fluffy... Pretty much anything with 4 legs...Although, i do like snakes---.. 2 types of snakes. I love watching the stars at night, just laying in the grass in the middle of nowhere and looking up at the sky. I have noticed that everyone is so used to just living day by day, they don't take the time to enjoy things that are beautiful. For example : dancing around literally in the pouring rain. I do that every time it rains. Then after when your freezing, a cup of hot chocolate is perfect! ( and it's free! ) I really enjoy playing Hacky Sack***keep in mind im not a professional... I have moves such as "; and " jumping unicorn"... Although i think me and my friends are going to make it to the Hacky Sack Championships eventually lol. I am the kind of person that hopes for the best with everything..with the world... And with people in general.. I always think highly of people, i have found that because of this i have ended up disappointed in the process.     I would classify myself as a high maintenance tomboy. I like almost all sports, whether watching or participating.
