About Me

I love to read and write. I love puzzles and certain games. I'm a nerd, a bit clumsy (okay, a lot clumsy), and I prefer honesty in all things. I love the military and served eight years, and I would love to get back in if I lose the weight and get back in shape. I want a career in the military or criminal justice; I'm almost finished with my Bachelors in criminal justice administration. I love country music, including some bluegrass; I don't tend to listen to anything else except patriotic music. I prefer the newer artists, but I do love some of the classics as well. I have two kids and three cats, and they're all non-negotiable. We're a package deal. :) I have to have a man who likes to be touched and wants to touch.The ugly...I can get clingy. I do occasionally have a temper. I'm not a total slob, but I'm not the best housekeeper either. I try to be consistent when parenting but don't always succeed. I'm probably between 40 and 60 pounds overweight.The good...I try to be honest as much as possible. I love to please my partner. I love to cook. I'm usually easy-going, and I tend to be up for anything. I like to see new things and learn, but I'm also okay with staying home.; I shower every day, or at most go one day without showering. I'm a tomboy; I have a very vague idea of how to wear make-up. I have a quirky sense of humor and can be quite ditsy. I believe that if one really tries, one can work anything out. I'm not the most polished or accomplished person, but at least you know what you're gonna get, at least most of the time. Sometimes I don't even know what you're gonna get. I'm an emotional girl, sometimes I laugh and sometimes I cry, and sometimes I do both and don't know why (another song quote, try and get it if possible).P.S. Bonus points if you know what song the first three words of my headline are from. Even better if you also know the artist who sings it. I'm open for dinner, a movie, going to a museum, a short hike, just about anything.
