About Me

I'd say I'm pretty simple in what basic qualities I'm interested in: -someone with ambition.-well-rounded (hobbies, achievements and accomplishments).-sense of humor is a must; you have to be able to keep me on my toes. -common sense.-an ability to hold a conversation past small talk, because let's face it, anyone can bullshit; self included. Glorified pillow hog and blanket stealer. I'm a closeted country girl... I can "rough it"I love to sing... in my car. And in the shower. Just not in public.I play soccer. With my brother. And his friends. We have a crazy good time...I coach girls volleyball. I know very little about the sport, so it's always entertaining at practice.I joined the "running" bandwagon and participate in all those ridiculous 5k and mud runs around the valley.After many years of poor choices, I've jump started the end of my 20s by getting back into shape. And I'm kind of addicted to it now. I've been described as many things, but my favorite adjective is "sassy". I'm an avid reader. I hate when there’s water on the floor after I get out of the shower. I have an unhealthy obsession with Post-it notes. I lived on a military base in Germany during my last semester of college.I'm fascinated by tattoos, but too much of a chicken to get one myself.I have a mortgage and an eight-year-old dalmatian who occupies a lot of my time.I enjoy pretending to be a combination of Bob the Builder and Handy Manny when it comes to working on my house. I speak fluent sarcasm and my students hate it. I enjoy it immensely. I've been in my profession for 6 years and enjoy every minute of it...I can't stand when others shorthand their text messages. Same goes for neglecting punctuation and spelling. Show me that you have at least a basic understanding of the English language.I have very little tolerance for people who don't listen, regardless of who's talking.Closeted football and UFC fan, although I never root for anyone... I love road trips to anywhere as long as the company is good. I just completed my Master's degree, so I'm in the market to spread my wings a bit and embark on another career path if I find something that suits my fancy as much as teaching does...If you're still reading this, feel free to drop me a line or an IM if I'm online...but do me a solid and if you're feeling inclined to drop me a line, make it more than just "Hi"...
