Im brand new to this site... and I've just moved back to the US after living in Thailand as a holistic nurse setting up a cancer center. Bear with me as I settle into both of these culture shocks ;) I'm not into going out drinking to meet someone. My last relationship was younger than me... I'm not interested in doing that again.I teach yoga and the philosophies are deeply embedded in my life. I love to communicate honestly and I'm always seeking what my honest feelings are and encourage others to allow themselves to do the same.I'm a doer, I love to be outdoors, I camp, hike, swim and play in nature as often as I can. I'm a nurse and a massage therapist as well. The human body and has always interested me. I eat healthy and take care of my own body and love it when a man takes interest in his own health and can maybe even teach me a thing or two. That would be a dream come true ;) I love doing and learning new things. I'm currently learning how to salsa dance... which is pretty exciting :) You're probably pegging me as one of those girls that loved Dirty Dancing right about now ... I've traveled to over 20 countries and been all over this beautiful country. Someone who has had similar experiences might have a perception closer to mine of living life to it's fullest potential. I love conversations, nature, day dreaming, adventure, laughter, community, hula hooping, dogs, bikes, music, painting, being sweet, dinners with friends, music festivals, writing, creating...I'm silly but I'm not interested in the kind of guy who needs to be sarcastic to show affection. I really appreciate a man who has the courage to speak his feelings and I try to respect that vulnerable space by doing the same.Is that enough? So I was reading the list of "Do's", for my intro and I have come up with this simple phrase to start off...I am me, I got here from a series of up's and down's in my life, I am the girl that loves adventure and at the same time loves the peace and solidarity of life. I enjoy working out, however I don't do it everyday and I certainly will not work out to please anyone else. I have curves and am very proud of them, so if thats not what you like you can find another girl. I eat healthy a good majority of the time, but can always go for a good slice of pizza. Right now I am in between what I really want to be doing and what I have to do to get to that place, someday I will be in the perfect place, but right now I know its necessary to be here in this middle ground. I am going to school to earn my bachelors degree in business and accounting. It's taken me a long time to realize what makes me happy, I didn't get here the traditional way but I'm happy all the same. I am the girl that always had big dreams. I live to read and be with my friends when I am doing either one of those things I am truly and purely happy. I have ambitions and I would love someone who is as ambitious as I am, it doesn't have to be ambition in the traditional sense. You don't need a degree to be with me, just ambitious in what you choose. Someone who will spend a night curled up watching a cheesy comedy and drinking beer. Who can pick up a phone and call me, texting just doesn't cut it. Who can take a little silliness, fun and pure randomness at times.
