Working hard for my money. Enjoying life! (Did you catch the song reference there?)I'M REALLY GOOD AT:I am good at multiple things. I am a decent cook, but I excel at my job (marketing for a regional insurance wholesaler), I am pretty funny (I probably should have been a comedian... Lol), and I bake a damn good cookie.I am a great listener, talker, I give a good hug, and I am a pretty great kisser;)THE FIRST THING PEOPLE USUALLY NOTICE ABOUT ME:I believe there are two obvious standouts, I will say my eyes and let you figure out the second.FAVORITES:Books: I love to read. I will basically read anything wih words. My favorite book is Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry. I also loved The Client. And i have a guilty pleasure for Nicolas Sparks. I could go on and on, but I will leave it here.Movies: The only thing I really don't watch is Horror, but i am open to it if you hold me through it (and after it). My two all time favorite movies are Grease and Shawshank Redemption. I like movies, but I perfer cuddling on the couch than going to the theater, unless its a great action movie that needs the screen and sound of the theater.Shows: I have an unhealthy love of reality television. I mean I completely understand its not really reality, but I love it. I also enjoy the food network, discovery channel, national geographic, hgtv... Music: My favorite topic! Music makes my heart beat, it makes my soul smile. I can't pick a favorite genera. My all time favorite artist is Madonna. My all time favorite song is Shimmer by Fuel. At the present moment my favorite band is Shinedown, however that changes from time to time. I lack musical ability, but can speak in song lyric, can start singing most songs on most radio stations before the words start, and can rap most words to the majority of EmInem and Master P. I also pride myself on knowing all the words to Baby Got Back. Side note, I promote a local rock cover band and hope to one day promote more bands!Food: My second favorite topic. Food is my worst enemy and my best friend all at the same time. I am not really picky bit I don't eat chocolate. I would need to explain the extent of that statement but I am not even sure how many people read this far anyway. My favorite salty snack is chips and salsa. My favorite sweet snack is a snowball. I love love love key lime pie. I like sushi, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, steak, burgers, vegetables, and fruit... SIX THINGS I COULD NEVER DO WITHOUT:1. My Son2. My Mom3. My three Best Friends4. My phone5. My car6. My Job I SPEND A LOT OF TIME THINKING ABOUT:So many things, my brain is always pondering something. ON A TYPICAL FRIDAY NIGHT I AM:Catching a local band or hanging out with my son. Would you like to be part of my typical Friday night?!..Really, if I tell another dating site it won't be private, this is the Internet people. However, I am an open book so just ask and you shall receive. (Another song reference... I do that a lot) Let's do something off the wall, like get a tattoo...lol! That was a joke, unless you like it;-) Dinner, or coffee, or a walk on the lake front would be fine:). Motorcycle ride?! Something interesting and new!

    I'm a homebody who enjoys life's simple pleasures as well as the finer things. I am at times short tempered, but am quick to apologize and see the other side of things. I am very strong-willed; an admirable trait by my thinking, and slightly hard-headed(mixed feelings on that one). My interests may not be those of the typical 30-something, but it doesn't bother me. Right now, I'm looking for a kind, happy, and fun-loving gentleman I'm compatible with to get to know in the hopes that it could grow into something more serious. A person I spend time with should be stable and have a positive outlook on life. I'm a big and beautiful woman. If that's not your cup of tea, then please move on. As hobbies go, I like writing in my journal, playing the occasional video game on my antique PS2, reading whatever strikes my fancy, and going out to dinner and a movie now and then. I also enjoy taking pictures, and plan on taking classes on professional photography very soon.-maker would suit me fine. I'm also a feminist; my ideas are my own and not subject to any pre-described notion as to what woman should be. I have no intention of having children of my own, but would welcome any children a potential partner might have. I know what I like and do my best to have it. I'm a small-town girl, so I am nosy by nature, and if you get to know me I will pepper you with questions about your life and then some. I possess many faults. Some I have been able to curb, and others I have learned to live with. You have to pick your battles, even if its with yourself. I know it sounds cliché, but I would want my ideal match to be my friend as well. If you have that first, all the rest usually falls into place...if its meant to be that is. "Things I like(in random order, and for random reasons)"-horror movies-the old TV show "Unsolved Mysteries"--books about sex and the way humans think(the more you know, the better you can be at anything)-tea(it makes me feel sophisticated for some reason, not to mention tastes better than coffee)--historical dramas(mainly for the costumes, but not limited to)-the color red(its an attention grabber, and I like attention)-watching men eat with their hands(its highly erotic; watch sometime and take notice)-doing arts and crafts with my 4 year old cousin(and being a good/bad influence on her as well)-pink roses(they say "hopeful lust" to me; I don't know why though)-Americanized sushi-the beach; even though I haven't been there in years(yes, shame on me.)-hanging out with my family Maybe I'm old-fashioned and boring, but I still like the whole dinner and a movie thing for a first date. The dinner allows for insightful conversation, and the movie; if things go well, allows for cuddling up in the dark. Now how could either be of those be dull? Of course I am open to other suggestions; I mean people do talk and sit close together in other venues.
