About Me

I've never done this before so let's see if I can do this without sounding too silly or attracting a stalker lol. I love it here and am officially a Yankee convert (Roll Tide!!!). I have strong Christian beliefs and am very active in my church. I'm not a religious fanatic, but anyone I considered dating would have to be a Christian as well. I have always been really focused on my education and have not dated much up until this point. I am an RN and I love my job. I'm also active in the local volunteer fire department.I'm not a dainty, high-maintenance type of girl. I've made a lot of good friends since moving down here and they have totally turned me on to good old country living. I love to go mud riding, fishing, camping, boating, and am looking forward to trying my luck at hunting this season. People describe me as pretty with a bubbly personality. I have never met a stranger and will have a good conversation with anybody I meet. I am equally comfortable going out or staying home and watching a good movie. I don't smoke, but I do drink socially. I like going out or staying in and hanging out with friends (I love me some Velcro Pygmies!!!). I like all kinds of music. I like R&B and dance mostly, but have come to enjoy Country music as well since moving down here. I absolutely do not do drugs and would not date anyone who does. Well, here's the deal. I would want our first meeting to be simple and safe. Perhaps meeting at a local restaurant or public gathering would be nice to break the ice and see if there's chemistry. Then, if we both like what we see, a real "first date" would come next. And by "real first date," I mean a real date. Pick me up at my house. Then take me out to dinner and a movie, bowling, or dancing. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I'm just a simple, old fashioned girl who's beginning to think that chivalry is dead.     I'm a mother of 3 beautiful kids, 2 girls and a boy. I'm a Criminal Justice Major, and once I'm done my BA I plan on going into the police academy, and eventually working for a federal agency. I have a... strange, sense of humor, but in coincides with the sense of humors my friends all have. I'm used to going back and forth with my friends, joking and dishing out insults until someone concedes, so hopefully you have tough skin. I love to work out. I try to go to the gym everyday, when my schedule permits. I'm a full time student. 15 credit hours. I'm also extremely active in my criminal justice fraternity, and many committees at my college. I try and stay busy, and keep my mind active. I can't sit around bored. Relaxing at night before bed, maybe, but most of the free time I have I'll spend studying, organizing an event, with my kids, and every so often i'll go out. I'm also big on routines. I have a schedule I stick to daily, mainly so my kids and I have structure to rely on, but also because it makes time management much easier. With the busy schedule I keep, time management is extremely important to me. I can't do clingy. Showing interest in me is great, and I love a man who puts forth and honest effort who takes a true interest in me, however I can not take someone who is under the impression my whole world will revolve around them. So if you think you will suddenly become number one and I will jump when you say so, you are sadly mistaken, and please do not waste either of our time. I am extremely forthcoming about what I think, when I think it. Most of the time, it isn't so bad, but if I seriously dislike something being done, or see a problem with something, please don't expect me to hold my tongue. I can debate all day everyday, I just chose not to.I'd like to find someone who can challenge my minds, and enjoys sports and kids as much as I do. I love learning, and I love the law. So I hope to find someone who can share my interests, and can hold a real life conversation with me, and not just a generic one.
