I'm at a place in my life where I'm not really looking to date serious, but more so, see what is out there and make new friends. I am really busy, independent and focused on myself but I like to chat with new people and maybe in the future it can lead into something else. I am a single mom who works two jobs and I am very close to my son. He is my world. I do my best to balance my social life with my jobs and my son. He's active in sports in the summer so that really makes for a crazy schedule. I enjoy being busy and when I'm not, I like to go for walks if weather permits it, watch some Netflix or find out what my friends are doing and catch a bite to eat and some drinks.I just started going to church this year and if I'm going to date someone, I would like them to be open to attended church a couple times a month. I've always been in touch with my spiritual side and I feel church brings so much positive in your life. I go to a non-denominational church and it's super laid back. I do not center my entire life around it, but it is important to me. I feel like there is so much wrong with the world today and so many temptations and wrong paths to go down, that it keeps people focused on what is truly important and also gives you an awesome feeling.Also, if you are not a country fan I'm not sure we can get along. I hang out with a group of people I call my "country" friends and I enjoy going out to my country bars. I am a fan of all kinds of music, besides heavy rock/metal because some of it sounds so angry and demonic. Also, any rap that refers to women in a derogatory manner or swears every other line. There are exceptions. I do like some random songs that are a bit heavy and I do listen to rap. I just think some of the content and messages songs portray is very disturbing/disgusting.I'm a complete sucker for a nice smile and a man who can make me laugh. If you don't have any pictures up of you smiling, 9.9 times out of 10, I won't respond to you because I will just assume you never smile. I am a bit shy/reserved and it takes a little effort to get to know me. Most of the guys I've dated have been ones to show interest in me, and not be overbearing about it. I do not like to rush into things either. If I'm talking to you and you ask for my number, I'm going to say no, but I will add you on *** I go out with you twice and you ask me to be your girlfriend, I'm going to say no. I don't understand people who have known each other for 2 weeks or even a month and all of a sudden they are in what they call a "committed relationship" with someone they barely know.One last thing...I just got braces in April. Just don't want there to be any surprises if we meet. They probably make me look way younger, as if I needed any more help in that area.That's about all to give you a little bit of an understanding of me.     So, here I go again. I've tried this before, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Once, I wrote a couple of lines, once I wrote my life story. Neither really got me anywhere.I'll say this much now, I'm by no means a beauty queen but I'm a good woman. I love to do anything outdoors regardless of the season. I'm a good cook. I like to read and sew and garden, a regular Susie Homemaker. I go to the gym 3 or 4 days a week and am on the fast track to a healthier life.I have a 11 year old daughter, she's awesome. There's no drama.I like any kinda movie but I'm pretty much over horror flicks. Thanks, LindaIf you've made it this far, there must be some hope so I'll throw this in for those for have stuck it out. I have an autoimmune condition which has caused me to put on weight. I have had the condition for 25 years but have only recently become aware of it. Now that I finally know what's going on, I am taking serious steps to turn it around and lose the weight. Please keep this in mind as you're about to dismiss me because I'm "too fat for you." So many men say they only want a woman who takes care of herself. This isn't a matter of whether or not I want to or do take care of myself. I eat a healthy diet and get in work outs when time allows. I wont always look the way I do now. It's an uphill battle but I'm already well on my way. There's so much more to me than the number on the scale. If you can't handle me at my worst, you won't have me at my best. But then we'll both be better off for that, I suppose. Open to suggestions. I like to have a good time and I'm pretty easy to entertain.
