Before I say anything, let me just say: make me laugh and I'm yours. I strive to find a man that can keep me entertained in that regard. Oh yeah, and graphic/web design. But mostly the laughing part.Work-wise, I am a freelance graphic & web designer with a marketing background that specializes in software user interface design. The economy has made it more difficult to keep the "freelance" aspect of my work as steady as it has been at its height, but I have been laid off from enough liquidating dot-com companies to realize that I have no desire to work for "the man" that has no vested interest in me. Being self-employed has allowed me to work on my self-discipline as well as allowed me to teach myself new aspects of my business I wouldn't have learned as an employee elsewhere. The one part of sole-proprietorship I will never like and never get used to is collections. I hate making collection calls; I wish everyone would just pay for the work they commissioned :(Anyway! Enough about my work! I like what I do, but this is not something that I focus on all the time.
