Being self-employed has allowed me to work on my self-discipline as well as allowed me to teach myself new aspects of my business I wouldn't have learned as an employee elsewhere. The one part of sole-proprietorship I will never like and never get used to is collections. I hate making collection calls; I wish everyone would just pay for the work they commissioned :(Anyway! Enough about my work! I like what I do, but this is not something that I focus on all the time. I'm adventurous and love trying new things. I like to spend my free time outdoors and am really looking to meet someone who is willing to be spontaneous and live a little. About seven years ago I quit my job in L.A., sold my car, and started traveling around the world. I made it as far as Thailand and stayed for close to two years teaching English while immersing myself in the traditional Thai culture and also partying all over Asia. The way I view life and the world was forever changed from the traveling I did, and I would love to meet someone who is equally excited about seeing the world!
