About Me

*** DISCLAIMER*** Before proceeding to my fantastic profile, please be advised and forewarned of the following:1. WE WILL NOT BE SLEEPING TOGETHER ON THE FIRST DATE.2. I WILL NOT SEND SOMEONE IVE NEVER MET "SEXY" PICTURES. 3. MY TWO CHILDREN HAVE AUTISM. THEY ALSO ARE IN MY CARE MAJORITY OF THE TIME. ANYONE WHO DATES ME NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT. WE ARE A FAMILY FIRST. :) UPDATE:After hiding my profile for a while so I could clear my mind and learn from an experience I had hoped better for..... I'm going to try this again. I do want to be clear when I say that I am looking for someone to be friends with first. I'm not interested in being anyone's hook up, nor am I interested in guys who arent sure about what they are looking for in a relationship. I'm looking for something lasting and meaningful. Far from ordinary, I've had a lot of life experiences that have changed me in a positive and profound way... I will share those with you if we seem to click. That said, I'm looking for an amazing chemistry between the two of us that can grow into a relationship based on honesty, trust, and transparency. That amazing spark of energy that is created between two people when they are vibing off of each other, feeling where the other is coming from... The eyes meet and it's as though time stops...... Yeah... That moment!!! :) I am looking for someone who knows how to laugh at life, be dorky and seduce me with his awkward charm, lol. At the same time, he can engage me in thought provoking conversation and inspire each other. Underneath it all, theres a depth to some people that goes beyond the superficial. I'm complex that way and would like to think that I am an awesome contradiction of both worlds. I'm looking for the same in a best friend. Someone who can be playful and cray-cray but knows how to be romantic and corny with me. I'm in no rush to get married though. I repeat, I am in no rush to get married. Having an awesome relationship doesnt mean I need to get married asap. I want to savor every moment of joy... After all, love needs never to be on a deadline. FYI- I don't think having any more of my own children is right for me. Lastly, im totally fine staying single until I meet the one who can embrace me for all these things that make me who I am. If this sounds like something you want too, I look forward to hearing from you. :) As always, my focus is on my kids. I have two beautifully smart, intriguing, heroic children who have Autism. They have taught me more about life in the short time that I have had them than in all the experiences I have been in thus far. My days are usually pretty busy. We do school, therapies, in home services, community events, and are involved with our local Autism Society. We have busy schedules. We work hard, we play hard and we love each other.Im all about trying new things, I want to see all that the world has to offer. You should message me IF...You have a heart for children, a passion for living life, a good sense of humor, and an awesome smile =)You should NOT message me if...You are not into trying new things, play online/video games, cant maintain a conversation without the use of four letter words, and consider yourself a "homebody". Turn Ons:Soft, full lips, white teeth and a nice smile.A guy who volunteers in organizations he feels passionate about.A guy who's not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.Turn Offs:Pessimism Mind games (ie lies, insecurity, etc)Smokers

Woman. 31 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 28-38

I love the water, fishing, boating and hanging at the beach. Looking forward to the fall weather so I can enjoy oyster roasts and bonfires. I have a son who will be 14 in November. His father and I get along great. There's no drama there. My son plays football on his school football team. The season is wrapping up. Just looking to meet new people and hopefully something more will evolve. Starting fresh...P.S. I do not date outside my race. I have many friends of other races but it's my personal preference to only date within my race. Thank you. Surprise me...

So what to say....I have a great job and love what I do. I have a 7 year old dog and he really is a huge part of my life. If I have a day off he will usually be with me. I have a small family but am lucky to live so close to them that we almost see eachother to much :) My friends would probably tell you that I have a huge heart and try to always give someone the benefit doubt and not to judge someone. I'm polite and love to cook and entertain. I love to open a bottle of wine and enjoy a nice dinner and company. I love trying new foods and new places to eat. I'm ready to meet someone that is so amazing that I won't want to be single anymore. I'm not crazy and don't like drama, I expect the same from you. if you want to know more ask me... coffee, drinks, dinner

Ugh, I never know what to say in these mini-autobiographies. Let's see.. I live in Baymeadows with my two cats, Charley the Hurricane Kitty and his kitten, Charley's Angel. Yes, I went there, which should give you some idea of my sense of humor. I love bowling and karaoke and hate being told to color inside the lines. I think laughter is one of the most important things in life, and taking things too seriously just causes premature wrinkles. Que sera, sera! That being said, I'm fairly responsible when it counts, I just don't see the point in being uptight about it.My train of thought tends to get derailed in bizarre, inexplicable ways. Why stress over whether the glass is half empty or half full? Just drink it! (This applies to all aspects of life, not just beverages.)I enjoy outdoorsy things, and indoorsy things too ;-) I haven't done one in a while, but I used to run 5ks.- I'm terrible at tennis, but have a blast at it, and really, REALLY want to get scuba certified. I also really enjoy embracing my inner vegetable and drinking good beer and wine while watching endless episodes of How I Met Your Mother or an awesome movie.I'm an initiatives specialist at a major bank, and am pursuing a degree in geekery (information technology, natch). My main goal in life is to be happy, work is just one of those things that pays the bills, although I do absolutely adore my job and it's icing on the cake that it lets me indulge my gadget and steampunk jewelry addictions and allows for happy fun times outside the house. ***is the year of bucket list items. So far, I've started doing painting classes at Wine & Canvas - I'll be up to seven paintings by the end of March. Super fun! Many more things are actually on the list; these are just the ones I've made headway on so far.BUCKET LIST UPDATE: Mardi Gras was awesome!! I brought home a bag o' souvenirs and two new tattoos to commemorate the occasion.Let me be clear up front. I am "bisexual", although the proper description would be closer to pansexual. This does not mean I'm actively seeking to date a couple. This does not mean, if we have a relationship, I would want to have a (opposite-gender-here)friend as well. I have had long term relationships with women as well as men, and don't view either as any different from the other. If the right couple came along, I would absolutely be open to that sort of relationship - but I am looking for a *relationship*. It would have to be The Ideal Situation, and I hardly expect that to come along, nor am I seeking it. If you, as a single person, expect to date me and get to have random threesomes, you will be tragically disappointed. If you, as a couple, want someone with whom you can have some fun, I wish you the best, but it isn't me. Legitimate polygamists, I will admit I'm skeptical, but entirely willing to be persuaded. At this point in my life, meaningless fun is more or less out of my system and I'm either looking for the right fit or no fit at all. I'm secure enough in my own skin not to need someone else to validate me, as much as I would enjoy a companion or companions.Interests.. I'll make this easy and just summarize by category ;- More web comic than book, Sluggy Freelance. I do have the Fire & Rain book laying around somewhere... I read a book or two a week, so it's impossible to give a full spectrum of my reading tastes.- the campier the better! - such as Reanimator, the Toxic Avenger (GO TROMA!!. Some RomComs, if I'm in the mood, all the better if it's a ZomRomCom (a term coined at my last birthday party where a heated discussion arose over whether Shaun of the Dead is one). I'll pretty much give anything a try once, if someone tells me it's worth watching. Love that man!;nuclear wessels" and Scotty's adventures in primitive computing were priceless). The REAL Star Wars movies... Etc, etc... Oh, and Game of Thrones. I love how true to the books it's been thus far. Oldies but goodies: again, most things Star Trek, Buffy (yes, I own the box set), Firefly (again, yes, I own the box set :-P), Mr. Bean, the Vicar of Dibley, Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served? (Love love love BritComs!!)... Anything Joss Whedon.Music: I like a little of everything except for most country and rap. As always, exceptions to the rule are out there, especially when a rapper collaborates with a singer I really love. Oh, yes, and I have the Buffy musical episode soundtrack. Not that I need the recording anymore since I've seen it enough times to know it by heart.Food: I'm allergic to mushrooms and am working up my tolerance towards spicy food. Other than that, I like most non-Southern food (born and raised in the South, but I can't stand iced tea, fried chicken, "greens" and the like - I'm the least Southern Southern girl I know). I love sushi, as long as it isn't baby octopus. The brains go squish and it's just gross, sorry. I adore a good Chardonnay, and will rarely say no to *good* beer. I'll keep it simple - I think the perfect first date is mini golf and sushi. Or anything else slightly bizarre and awesomely fun. I'll take you down at laser tag!
